I just had my laptop wiped clean and I reinstalled Media Shout, which was v3.1. I hit the "check for updates" to download all the patches and the link is broken. Where can I get those patches now that the website has been reworked?

iCal problem with EDS

I tried entering this already today and don't know if it got posted or not. So here's version 2.

The events are completely out of order. It's an EDS bulletin referencing a google iCal calendar. It is sorted by time. Yet the dates are completely out of order (Mar 3,2,3 again, 4, 3 again) and the times are really messed up. 6:30pm, 2:00pm, 7:00pm. etc.

This is for a customer with a gold assurance package. Please advise.

Batch upload pictures

If i have a bulletin or template with a picture element, is there a way to batch upload pictures to that element that would result in multiple bulletins, all formated the same, but with unique pictures?

I know I can batch upload background picts, but this is a different animal...or is it?

Still have a problem with TV input

I thought we had this figured out. For some reason the TV input goes black after a few loops through the list of bulletins. It's set up to display a tuned TV channel from an RF feed. It shows it a few times, then goes black. I put in the bumper graphic, and that is not displayed after it goes to black. Any ideas?

Okay, problem not resolved. Thought we had it. I added a bumper graphic to the video feed. It will work when you first launch the display engine and then goes to black. It doesn't show the bumper graphic. Just black.

Any ideas?

Problem resolved. That particular player had 5.1 software on it while the rest of the system was running 5.2

I submitted this but have a little more data. The school creates a bulletin for a TV input from a cable TV channel. After a while, it goes black and doesn't come back on. It is currently in a list of 4 bulletins.

If they delete the bulletin, and make a new one, it does work for a while, then goes black again.

I thought there was going to be a way to change the RSS refresh times in 5.2. I have the demo and can't seem to find where to set that refresh time. Was it included?

I had been using my main calendar. I made a new calendar and it seems to be working. Not sure why they are different. I'll email the link to TRMS support.

I tried the iCal integration with EDS and got this message:

The URL does not seem to be a valid iCal feed: expecting "EQUAL", found 'STS'

Any ideas?
