copied the info from delicious (which is from yahoo). could not authenticate. what could i be doing wrong?

username not available

The username my company wanted to choose was not available. However, we did a search for it and it is also not in twitter use (as we can see). So, we had to pick the closest name we could "FantWits.com". We would prefer our user name to be simply "FanTwits".

Again, Fantwits is not in use at Twitter. Can we have it?

We are starting a Twitter API related company. We own the domain name, fantwits.com. When we tried to sign up for a Twitter page with the user name, FanTwits, the user name was not taken. However, it was not able to be used by us. We would like our Twitter user name to be FanTwits. How can we obtain this Twitter user name?
