Scottitude replied on November 07, 2009 05:21 to the problem "Palm Pre Password Lock causes user-error almost every time" in Palm:
You may want to consider using PreWare from WebOS Internals to install a patch that will provide haptic feedback (slight vibration) to your touchscreen.
If you can think of something you want your Pre to do, it's very likely "there's a patch for that".
PreCentral.Net has some great information here on installing PreWare and maximizing your Pre experience.
Good luck & have fun!

I typically use PhotoBucket for multiple images but this is a tasty tip for quickly lining up a few pics. Thank you. – Scottitude, on November 02, 2009 23:48

A comment on the question "Moblog on Palm's WebOS" in Six Apart:
Makes sense and benefits more users. I know Palm's market share and user base is just a drop in the bucket compared to other mobile devices but developers are doing some sweet things with WebOS so I figured I'd throw It out there. As always, thanks for the quick response. :) – Scottitude, on November 02, 2009 23:36

Scottitude asked a question in Six Apart on November 01, 2009 05:43:
Moblog on Palm's WebOSAny plans for a moblog app built on the Palm WebOS platform that drives the Prē & Pixi? Posting via email works well enough but a WebOS interface would be slick.
Scottitude replied on September 16, 2009 22:57 to the question "Can you add an adult content disclaimer?" in Six Apart:
I don't know that it's required but it seems like the common-sense thing to do. As I said earlier, it would demonstrate a responsible effort on the part of the blogger should anyone (or any entity) accuse said blogger of publishing, and thereby freely and recklessly distributing, offensive material.
Better safe than sorry, IMO,

Since you're on a trial and haven't really succeeded at optimizing your presence, I'd suggest the Power Launch Service.
It may seem a little pricey at first glance but when you consider all it includes, it's a bargain for any business blogger.

Scottitude replied on August 04, 2009 02:04 to the question "Is there a module/functionality for searching my blog posts?" in Six Apart:
Unless things have changed, using an advanced template, you can add a Google search module that allows readers the option of searching your blog or the Net to a sidebar by placing this code where you want it to appear:
<!--#include virtual="/lists/search_this_blog/module.inc"-->
I don't see anything similar for basic templates but you could check out the Lijit widget at: http://www.sixapart.com/typepad/widge...
According to the description it
"...indexes results from your blog and online social network profiles, which helps increase your page views and offer higher relevancy search results to your readers."
Hope one of these suits your needs.
Scottitude replied on August 03, 2009 03:56 to the question "why won't comments load on gawker and jezebel?" in Gawker Media Tech:
I suggets LifeHacker write a post on how to hack their lousy comments. Either LH and the rest of them are dead in the water or are sinking fast because Denton's dorks are in way over their heads.
What's the deal, either they don't give a shit or they're incompetent boobs. And thes guys are "pro" bloggers? Friggin' idiots.

Scottitude replied on July 26, 2009 19:30 to the question "Can you add an adult content disclaimer?" in Six Apart:
You can create a "disclaimer" or "about the blog" page with an "enter here" link to the main page of your blog following a statement saying something like:
"This Website may contain adult content or other material that may not be suitable for minors. Clicking the link and entering NameOfBlog.com will be construed as acknowledgment that you are 18 years of age or older and may legally view mature content."
It won't stop underage visitors but it will demonstrate a responsible effort on your part.
If you're not familiar, create your new front page by going to:
blog > posts > pages > new page
To set the new page as the Front Page of your blog go to:
blog > settings > posts & pages
Scroll down to "Front Page" and tick the circled next to "Display a "page" as the front page" then select your the desired page from the drop-down list below it.
Hope this helps.

The Zune Customizer has been available for a while. It's an amazing mod that allows you to add or change background images, change font size & color, create and save complete themes, etc.
Get it, it's very cool.
