    scottso17
I've been having this problem with the new version of Xobni. Every time I restart Outlook/Xobni, it shows my profile but with JB's name - the same person each time. Even after I edit my Xobni contact to correct the name, it reverts to JB's name when I restart Outloook/Xobni.

I'm on Xobni 1.8.3 build 8733, Windows XP, Outlook 2003.

    Thank you.

Why do I get an error message each time RescueTime first loads?
I have RescueTime set to start up with my computer. It's in the Startup folder on my computer. However, I always get this error message when it first loads:

"The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x004f2413."

When I manually load RescueTime, it usually starts fine. How can I eliminate this error message? Thank you.

Autopay sign up results in unchangable late fee
I recently signed up for autopay from my bank account for my AmEx Platinum Cash Rebate card. When my statement came, I disregarded it, since I assumed my automatic payment would be applied. My next statement showed that I hadn't paid my balance and hit me with a $19 late fee.

Today, I called AmEx to ask for the late fee to be waived and offering to pay the balance immediately. The rep and her supervisor both refused, and I canceled my card.

I had been a customer since 2000, and no more.

Strangely, canceling my card was much easier than the discussion with the service rep and her supervisor. They spit out what sounded like canned responses, and the supervisor essentially told me he was simply following the processes they had set in place. He had no discretion to actually help me.

I'd like to carry an AmEx card, but not with this attitude. Something clearly went awry when I tried to sign up for autopay, and they refused to make good on it.

It's just $19 and not a big deal. But then again, it's just $19, and I paid my entire balance aside from that. What gives, AmEx?

Earloop falls out of Jawbone 2 - won't lock in
I have Jawbone 2 I purchased in January. I decided that the smaller (medium) earloop is the right fit for me. However, it keeps falling out of the headset, and I'm afraid I'll lose it. It simply won't lock into place like the other earloops that came with the package. I contacted Jawbone support, and they mailed me 2 replacement medium earloops. Unfortunately, the same problem exists -- the loops keep falling out! I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong, if the earpiece itself is faulty (i.e., the loops won't lock into it), or .... I don't know!

I replied to Aliph asking for further guidance, and they told me they would send a new earbud that might solve my problem. That was over a month ago, and nothing in the mail and no reply.

Any suggestions from anyone out there? Thanks!

    Will Puma repair my sneakers?
I have a pair of Puma sneakers that I really like. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be made any more, and they are in need of repair. I suspect the outer sole could stand to be replaced, and I could use insoles (though I could always get generic ones). Puma's website doesn't mention a word about repair, and I'd really prefer for them to be repaired by Puma -- so that they keep the same look. What's the best way to get these sneakers fixed up?

Broken TVs, dirty cabins on JetBlue
On two recent JetBlue flights, two different planes both seemed like they were starting to get run down. It's been 10 years since they started operating, and maybe it's time to start reconditioning some of the planes.

On both of these flights, many TVs on the plane were not working. (This has happened to me 4 or 5 times over the past several years.) It makes me wonder about deceptive advertising -- because in each case, the flight crew seemed quite aware that the TVs did not work. JetBlue claims, "Surf through 36 free channels of live TV at every seat." On half the flights I took this year with JetBlue, that was not true.

Additionally, some of the cabins are VERY dirty. On the last flight I took, there was old, caked gum on the seat pocket in front of me. It had clearly been there for a long time and no effort was made to remove it. Gross.

I keep choosing JetBlue for the TVs, nice seats, and other perks... but am starting to wonder if perhaps those perks aren't quite so real.

Hi Mark - Gootodo has *always* been that slow for me -- I just figured you had a slow server that needed to be upgraded. After ~1 year of using the site, it is good enough that I can put up with the slow speed but it's starting to get annoying... we'll see if it generally improves on the non-secure server. Thanks!

Ah, I had been on the secure server and didn't know you could switch.

It seems to be A LOT faster now. An example, though - even after using the regular non-secure server: I selected May 14 to see that day's tasks, and it took 5 seconds for results to come back.

I like to go back through the list to see what I did in a given month, and it's excruciatingly slow when it takes ~5 seconds for every day to come up - ala AOL dial up days.

Slow food is good, but a slow website isn't
The site is VERY slow. I find that I add to-dos via email instead of the site because it's so much faster that way. I find myself avoiding the need to navigate through my list, which is really far from ideal, unfortunately.

I would interact with the site much, much more if it wasn't so darn slow.

Mark -- here's a great opportunity to improve this customer experience!

    Websense is blocking Twitter images
I can't see pictures of followers or people I'm following. It seems that Websense (my company's web filtering software) is blocking images from http://s3.amazonaws.com/twitter_produ.... , where Twitter's images seem to be hosted. I don't have any control over what gets blocked/unblocked by Websense, unfortunately. Not a big deal to see Twitter picture-less but it's strange.

Must show receipt before leaving, or else be physically restrained
I really dislike BJ's policy of stopping me and checking my receipt when I leave their stores. If you try to walk past the receipt checker, they will physically restrain you, which I REALLY don't like.

I have a hard time understanding this policy. I understand being checked if I look suspicious -- or if I am leaving the store with waaaay too much stuff in my cart. But usually, I have less than $150 of goods in my cart. The receipt check makes me feel like I did something wrong.

I am certain that the team members are performing their duties according to BJ's policy. However....

Why do they perform these checks, but many of their competitors do not, such as Wal-Mart, Stop & Shop, Target, Shaw's, and more?

Can't the security staff and cashiers look for theft without making every single customer feel like a suspected thief?
