PS3 compatibility would be incredible - you can already install linux (albeit with most of the ps3 power restricted) so running this OS should be potentially achievable maybe - and that'd be so cool :)

MythTV is kinda ugly looking lol - Personally I quite like the BT Vision (uk service) EPG and PVR functionality. I found out however, that this is built on Microsoft Mediaroom http://www.microsoft.com/Mediaroom/ - which might seem bad to some, but the clarity of the BT Vision EPG is excellent - I really can't fault it for speed or attractiveness.

To be honest PVR functionality is 'would be great to have' feature, but working with TV Tuners is something I think is essential - and for that to work nicely there needs to be an EPG - and I have faith in the Boxee team to make something beautiful :D

I like this idea too - I have tried XBMC before (on PC) and this was the missing feature that drove me crazy. Not such a problem if your device is built/bought to be just a media center, but if you are doing a bit of dual purposing then this is essential.

Imagine a world where all you need for all your DVD, network, internet, and OTA video (and audio) is a little Mac Mini (or future Boxee box) - how slick would it be to have just one remote, one GUI, one diminutive device. I've not seen anything that looks quite as slick as Boxee so far, and with the extra features it would be incredible. I'd love to see the Boxee team rise to the challenge of designing the nicest, clearest, most attractive and user-friendly EPG ever - I have a lot of faith in you guys :D

Personally I'd love to see Boxee support OTA (over-the-air) digital television transmissions (in the UK, Freeview and Freeview+ which includes PVR facilities)

I think this format is used fairly widely - although I gather not in the US?

This would be a killer feature for set top boxes, removing the need for a separate set top box for terrestrial broadcasts. I believe XBMC already supported TV Tuners? Maybe I'm wrong though...

I hope there are other people who see this as an important and extremely useful feature :)
