Hey Jared,
Can you try again, but make sure you remove the period after 'soundcloud.com'. So instead of:
http://soundcloud.com./gabriele8ne
use:
http://soundcloud.com/gabriele8ne
Let us know if that works for you.

Looking closer at the transaction - it seems our gateway is unable to process your card number.
We report to the gateway you are using a Mastercard starting with 53 and ending with 55. But our gateway does not identify your card as a Mastercard.
We've had problems with Mastercard in the past, but this is the first time we've seen this kind of error.
Just to confirm - do you have Javascript enabled, are clicking on the "Mastercard" button and entering the credit card number without spaces or dashes?

Hi Leri,
We're passing back what we're getting from our payment provider while trying to authorize your credit card.
We've just deployed a new version of SoundCloud that will collect a bit more information about these authorization errors.
We've had previous problems with our payment gateway using debit cards with the Visa/Mastercard logo.
Can you please try again one more time, let us know here and I'll look into our logs to see if there is anything more I can advise? Thanks.

Well, the recommended encoding depends on your desired distribution. It's possible to upload uncompressed, lossless files (FLAC for example) and we'll do our best to present a high quality listening version.
If you wish to limit your distribution or speed up the uploading, you can stick with a 96kbit MP3. We'll still convert that to 128 for listening so you may hear more MP3 artifacts.
I recommend either a 320kbit MP3 or FLAC upload if you have a stable and speedy internet connection.

Hey abbyk,
We're always trying to improve our audio conversion, and believe that the artifacts came from when we resampled your audio from 32 kHz to 44.1 kHz. This is the first time we've gotten a report from a 32 kHz file. If you try uploading a 44.1 kHz version the clicks should go away. In the meantime we'll look at improve our resampling step for our audio conversion.
Hope this helps,

Hey Joshua,
You're doing the right thing. The settings should be updated right away without having to press a save button.
I've hand updated your settings to be digest for the additions and posts while we investigate this.
We've tested this with our accounts and the updating works fine when we click on 'digest' or 'never' for the "Your settings have been updated", then click on one of the top links like 'You' then click on 'Settings' then click on 'Email Settings'.

Hi Brian,
I ran a complete pass over the files, rebuilding many of them but if you're still seeing the problem then I'll have to look at your tracks specifically.
Can you send me a message over SoundCloud with URLs to your tracks (private or public) and I'll look at them.

Thanks,
Sean

Actually, give it a bit more time. The caches between us and you are slowly being cleared. Until they are cleared, you will still get the same content.
Good news is that all the tracks on our side have been recoded, bad news is that we still have to wait a bit before you'll start getting the updated recoding.
Sean replied on May 05, 2009 17:50 to the question "Song length incorrect; file skips during playback." in SoundCloud:
Yup, I'm seeing that the 48khz is still being delivered.
To make the delivery as solid as possible, we're caching the streams in a couple places between us and you. On our side, it's updated to 44.1khz, and have requested that the caches between us an you be flushed. However they didn't flush as quickly as I expected, so have put in a request for our content delivery network partner to investigate why this track is still delivering the stale version.
Bear with us! It'll clear up shortly.
