Not only do you want me to make multi-tasking easier, you want a configuration setting too!?!! You've gone too far! Burn the infidel!

Interesting. Your idea at the end is pretty cool. j0dan? That useful to you. One place you could hover your mouse and all the notes are visible at once? Or you really need them all there all the time?
Thanks,

Qrystal,
So I have another idea here. What if instead there was some small indicator somewhere. A little red light or a little green light. You get the green light if there is at least one bubbled in bubble for every time slot between 12AM and now. You get a red light if there is a slot that's not bubbled. Would this accomplish what you are after?
Thanks,

Sean Johnson replied on May 13, 2009 15:27 to the question "How do I import CSV data into BubbleTimer?" in Snooty Monkey:
wsargent,
It is an interesting idea. I never considered it really because it never occurred to me that someone would have a source of their time data in CSV format. Can you export data from RescueTime? In CSV? What's the format look like? ResuceTime is all about timing things down to the split second. I'm not sure exactly how you'd want that to work with BubbleTimer's more granular 15 minute view of the world.
If you have anymore details about what you had in mind, I'm more than game to discuss them and see if anything makes sense to impliment.
Thanks,
Sean

Emily, delete away. This feature has been there for a a few months (though was broken for much of April, how embarrassing).

Sean Johnson replied on May 13, 2009 15:23 to the problem "Impossible to click boxes on 1024x768 screen" in Snooty Monkey:
Eric,
Interesting. I was unable to recreate this in either browser. I made both FF and Safari small enough to get horizontal / vertical or both scroll bars and I didn't have this issue.
I did see a very slight jump on FF when I would mouse over a bubble but it was tiny and didn't seem to affect anything. I didn't see even that on Safari.
Maybe there are other differences in our environments that can account for it. Given you are using Safari, I assume you are on a Mac. But that could be a bad assumption. Also, what version of FF and Safari are you using.
Would it be possible for you to use something like the free Jing app. to make a quick movie of the problem? It's pretty simple and fast, but it's a lot to ask of you. If it's too much of a pain, then don't do it. I understand.

No, thank you Josh for finding and pointing out the problem. I am getting a lot of feedback that notes + print outs is a 1 + 1 = 3 kind of combination.

Josh,
You were only missing that there was one more bug (a new one since Simeon's issue had been solved) where contiguous planning bubbles were totaled with normal bubbles in certain range calculations. The problem is now solved and I'm confident you'll get the totals you expect for February if you look again.
Thanks!

Josh, Emily,
The problem is now resolved. Thanks so much for reporting it, and Josh I'm really sorry the response was so slow. In the future don't hesitate to use the toll free phone number if you don't get a timely response from me. That's what it's there for.
There were 2 separate issues both stemming from planning bubbles being mishandled. This case had been tested for but apparently not well enough because 1 case slipped through. The issue was when the bubbles were contiguous to real bubbles on the same activity that should be counted. There are same range calculations that were not taking the planning bubbles into account.
As is my policy (best part of being the boss is your whim is "policy") I'm giving you both courtesy accounts for life as thanks for helping get this bug reported, noticed and solved. I appreciate your input very much!
Thanks,
Sean

Josh, Emily,
That is at least 1 element of the issue. There are actually a case I've isolated where there are 3 separate times reported for the same activity on the same day. Counting the planning does account for one of the discrepancies and I'm tracking down the second.
Fix forthcoming.
Thanks!
Sean
