Now, this is something I can relate to as a fellow small-time player. I have been reading all these posts and the comments have been interesting. I follow people from different cells, but I'm not affiliated with a particular one. However, I have no tolerance for hostile kills and unethical (I know it's a game, but still) kills and people who suck the fun out of the game.

At this point, where all the money I spent to beef up my attack hasn't been reflected on the board, being killed and wounded by the same aggressive players a dozen times, and wondering if there is anything left in the game....

Sadly, it is really like a soap opera and not unlike any other community that breeds trolls and hostility, but I'm still hopeful that there are people who just would like to enjoy the game instead of having to answer to bullies. – secretgirlstuff, on September 07, 2009 18:04

Besides from my guy who was playing the game sending me 700K on several occasions, no one sends me money. But I have managed to get all the safehouses finally... besides going Elite, I don't know what the thrill is after this. – secretgirlstuff, on September 07, 2009 17:50

You know, I'm with you as well. Generally, my method is to attack back as a form of defense but I'm getting zero as well. I've given up on attacking medium risk as a way to increase my place if I'm not going to get anything for it.

Is this discouraging you to give up on the game? I know I feel that way. . . there's no challenge, no zing.

I seem to have the same problem. Was I right to assume that the glitch would be fixed automatically? Like others, I wasted millions on attack/defense but I have nothing to show for it. When you have all the safehouses and don't want to go elite, it seems wasting money on points is all you can do. ;)

I guess you don't know the amount and frequency of those money transfers. It's apparently a pittance next to most people's cash flows... several thousand dollars. What I was trying to say is that I didn't create accounts and ask people for huge cash flows like a lot of people did. I liked playing on my own without belonging to cells whose raison d'etre isn't too clear to me.

Hi there,

As someone who works on her own legitimately - no cells, no merged accounts, no cheating, no buddies to help me accumulate money, I'm glad that heads are rolling. Otherwise, the game is not challenging, motivating, and fun for the rest of us. It bothers me that some folks are so ruthless without a sense of honour with their kills, but then again, I meet other foes who are so fun to play against... that I thank you guys for working so hard for a bunch of sometimes whiny little kids that we are. :)
