I downloaded your Live Poker application for the iPhone a while back and tried it out maybe once or twice. This evening at 1am I received a text message asking me to try out your new game Scramble. In what alternate universe is this good business? I don't pay for text messaging, so your spam text actually cost me money. I remember having to sign up to play your poker game and can see that you requested my phone number as well. What I don't see is anything that would have opted me in to those text messages or any way to opt out. Email spam from unscrupulous companies is bad enough, but I refuse to start PAYING for text messaging spam.

Not only will I not be downloading your new game, I'll be reporting your company for abuse.

Posting to Twitter Mobile using "?status=" is not working

We are working on adding Twitter Mobile posting support to an iPhone application and have noticed that posting via "?status=" is no longer working. This works on the standard Twitter site and used to work on mobile. Is there a reason this has been disabled? Thanks!

Ahhhhhh. I think the issue is that I was using a lowercase "or" instead of "OR".

I would like to be able to search for multiple exact phrases in search.twitter.com. For example (and this is an example only :)), if I search for "goat party", I get twitter results for that exact phrase. If I do a search for "monkey show", I get results for that exact phrase. But there is no way to search for "goat party" OR "monkey show" and have those results all appear in one list.

This would be very useful to me. I have multiple phrases that are very similar and doing each exact phrase as a separate search creates a lot of duplication. Is there some way to pull this off that I am missing?

Unfortunately, the peeps at Socialthing! either don't monitor their Get Satisfaction account or they don't think this issue warrants a response. It has been almost a week since this has been reported and nothing official yet.

I noticed a problem this morning attempting to post to Ping.fm from the SocialThing iPhone web app. I repeatedly received an error message "There was an error. Resend".

I don't currently have any other accounts to test. Thanks for your help. I'm sure you guys will get this whipped soon. ExpanDrive is quite impress. I'm really enjoying using it.

I reverted back to the previous version and am running again as well. I do not have shell access enabled, so that could be part of the problem.

Thanks for the help. Restart didn't help. Reinstall also doesn't seem to help. Not sure how to do a proper uninstall of the app other than to drag it to the trash. If that would be helpful, I can try that and then restart and reinstall. Heading home now. Will check in this evening.

1. No dice on the Console. Nothing there but old Twitter errors. :)

2. Terminal is showing 1.3.1.

3. I'll try a restart after I post this.

1.2.6 Update breaks ExpanDrive (drive no longer appears in Finder)

After running the latest update (6/26/08), my Dreamhost based drive will no longer show up on the desktop and Open in Finder no longer reveals the drive. It is showing as connected and I have tried restarting ExpanDrive a few times with no change in status. Is there a possibility that this latest version is just bad?
