Auto username fetch feature disappeared? When I first became aware of you guys in 2008, you had an interesting UI where you enter a commonly used username and it fetches potential matches for you across all the networks. See screenshot: http://www.flickr.com/photos/seemingl... - what happened to that feature now? It appears to be gone - that was one of the best innovation you've had.

This unfortunate situation, though not your fault, is not quite unlike IE's non-conformance of web standards making it a developer nightmare for years now. It's not your fault, but non-geeks won't be able to deal with these problems, and I think that it would be wise for you to look into how to get around with it.
I would like to thank you very much for your quick responses though. As a free tool, it does things very well for non-yahoo-pipe feeds, and that deserves great respect.
Cheers,

ok but here's one thing you might want to look into, which is that http://easytweets.com successfully used the same pipe's RSS and fed it. I understand it's probably not your issue but perhaps you can somehow hack it to make it work? – See-ming Lee, on November 12, 2009 20:11

http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run...
I hope that you guys figure this one out soon!!!!-

Profile employment info needs automatic chronological sortNot sure if this is a bug or not, but as an fyi, it's a bit disconcerting to see the company / employment history on the profile not sorted automatically chronologically / reverse-chronologically by end-date. People usually add their most recent employer first but it gets really chaotic after a while when it doesn't do this automagically for you! Manually editing entries quickly become painful :)

Global contact adds for multiple networkHere's an idea: since you can grab contacts from profile APIs, why not create a service where you can connect to contacts already on those network as well?
For example, when I just added someone as a friend on FriendFeed, one of the things that I do almost immediately is to also add them on Twitter + Flickr, then eventually also on Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.. this process gets repeated so often that it's getting annoying.
Would be great if someone would implement something like this, and it seems to me that you guys would be the ideal candidate!

RSS Feed for Network addThis idea just dawn on me: what about creating an RSS feed for network that you belong to? I find myself tweeting this whenever I join a new network - this way it's good for the network as well as a good way to let your friends know that you're on it - like auto tweet: I just joined @tumblr! Follow me at http://seeminglee.tumblr.com or something similar like that. It would be good for everybody: win win win!!!

Your Facebook app is not implementing the visibility settings1. First of all, thanks for implementing the visibility settings, particularly in separating DandyID profile visibility vs Extensions visibility, very helpful! Now people don't think that I'm too crazy looking at my profile (while I can still lock my URLs as necessary - a strategy which you clearly recognize as per your recent ClaimYouID service. Great idea btw!)
2. While the visibility settings appear to be working on DandyID profile as well as the JS widgets, it does not appear to be working on your Facebook app http://apps.facebook.com/dandyid/ - on my Facebook profile http://facebook.com/seeminglee you can see that it is still showing all the services. You might want to look into it!

See-ming Lee reported a problem in Yahoo! on August 20, 2009 14:17:
Problem canceling multiple domainsI registered 200+ domains with you guys a couple of years back, and I tried to cancel them after you changed my registration from $9.95/year to $34.95/year without any warning.
When I tried to cancel the plans, I was dismayed by the fact that I cannot do it all at once, but must cancel each one individually. I thought that I'd just suck it up and go through them one-by-one, but have been even more annoyed since every time I tried that your server returned an error.
I feel cheated that I have been paying you close to $6000 / year for services which I do not benefit from nor could I remove myself from, which will become $12,000 total this year.
The worst of all is that I could not find a single contact information to report this situation while this is happen.
It would be great if you can do something about it soon.-

JavaScript widget buttons tweaksI like how you guys have placed the logos inside more button-like UI in the javascript widget, but I think that the lines are a bit dark right now and they fight heavily with the logos. I'd love to see if they can go ~50% lighter and maybe change to the darker color only upon rollover.
I do think that it's a nice addition though--it's certainly more clickable now.

API to retrieve feed URLThe API is good as a personal id card. Would you consider extending it to retrieve the RSS URLs as well?
See-ming Lee replied on June 13, 2009 02:37 to the idea "Can DandyID widget's style not be locked in with the service?" in DandyID:
Sure thing - although you probably have noticed that I've solved the API issue (although may not be what you intended). Essentially, in order for me to retrieve data, the username used must be the numeric one and not the custom URL... I can already think of some more things I'd like the API to have but I guess I'll find you on IM instead then. :)
