I don't think this is helpful

The architecture doesn't allow a secure entry point with dependent collections

Category jiggery-pokery and display: none; are not professional solutions

You are the best, most professional, enablers in the photographic community and this is a low effort, brain intensive challenge.

This is a simple issue which keeps on coming up in discussions but it seems SM has never provided a genuine solution. It is standard on Photobucket.

* I want friends to enter with a password and see the galleries I want just them to see

Why all the hacks for a popular feature request? You could avoid bloat by just calling it "visitor area" or something similar

With passworded categories this would be possible
With sub-galleries this would be possible

Can it be added as a feature request or is it a can of festering worms that has divided developers, users and managers for the many many years?

Assinei pelo serviço. Uma pena, eu estava com tanta esperança más na prática seu desempenho era bem abaixo da média.

O atendimento não ajudou com problemas simples. Nem cheguei instalar aplicações por causa desses problemas - do lado do KingHost. Sou usário avançado e nunca encontrei tanta confusão no suporte técnica.

Para mim, o Kinghost falhou. Até eu desisti, depois de 24 horas, 3 tickets e 5 ligações

Feed 43 - great feed filter, some problems

Hi I love soupio and have used all its components for a few months now.

I filter twitter by feed43 and soup doesn't seem to poll feed43.com/any_old_feed.xml

- feed is added ok
- imports just one item
- doesn't update (tested this over a few weeks)
- other feed readers have no problems with initial import or updates
