It is scanning now with your suggested changes....has been for 129 minutes or so with 238 to go. (Is this a normal length of time?)
Currently I can open a browser, but not the one program that I have asked Counterspy to ignore - Spectorpro. It quits recording at some point when a scan starts. It works again when the computer is restarted. I also hate the way it is blatantly listed as an program in the Always Allowed. I wish it could be hidden.

Deep scan freezes my computer.
Most days, while Counterspy is doing a deep scan everything stalls. I can't open counterspy, can't open a browser, can't start any program. Other programs that should be running in the background are stalling also. Since upgrading to V3, I have to restart my computer after a scan to get access back to my computer. Should a scan really take from 300 to 800 minutes?
