My mousepad is not working
In a brand new HP pavilion DV3500 my mousepad is not working. This is very frustrating since this is a new laptop. I've search in vista's control panel to see if something is disabled, but with no luck. Also the activation button for the mousepad is turned on. So i believe is a) a driver issue (i've googled it but i havent found anything) or b) is a hardware issue.

What should i be testing?

Solution:

Seems that the laptop was locked and didnt start, i just pressed the power button 5 secs like shuting it down and that was it, the power button started to blink. Then i connect the power supply and baang, laptop started!!!

The hp documentation had the answer. i hope that this wont happen again.

HP pavilion dv5000 don't power up
Yesterday i was working fine with my laptop (pavilion dv500), doing the same stuff that i always do. i close my laptop, then i go to my house and try to turn it on, but nothing happens, not a light blinking,not a fan sound, nothing... i remove the battery, change the ac adapter (i have two), and nothing.

Does anyone having the same problem??
