The username I want to change it to is still an email, albeit shorter than my previous one, I'm changing it from xxxxxxxx@gmail.com to xx@domain.com.

Do you think it's maybe because the name in the address is too small?

Okay, here goes.

When I log on to soocial.com and go to "Accounts > Personal Info" and change the "E-mail Address" field to something other than it is now, then click "Update My Info" the page goes blank (all white). So it loads onto a page with no content (no images, no nothing).

I would imagine that if I tried to change it and it and the email was creating an error of some sort, that the page would say "You can't use that address", instead all I get is a blank page (http://www.soocial.com/settings).

I thought initially it was because I was using a really long (50 char) password, but I temporarily changed it to 8 char and it still wouldn't let me change my email.

Make sense?

For some reason, I can't seem to change my e-mail address in Soocial's Account Settings. Any help would be great!

System Preferences not responding on login
Hey guys,

Great service/app but I'm running into a bit of a problem.

When I attempt to log into my Soocial account via the System Preference pane, SystemPreferences.app freezes and I'm confronted with the spinning beach ball of death (ie, program not responding). I thought it might have something to do with the length of my password or the syntax of my login, so I changed both, but with no relief.

I probably wouldn't have noticed except Soocial wouldn't sync contacts (after previously being able to do so) between my laptop and desktop. To fix this I thought I'd logout then login. I haven't been able to log back in on either machine since.

I don't know if this is date coincident with me syncing with my Gmail account last night, but I thought I'd mention it.

Any ideas?
