Able to use HTML coding in BulletinsI'm not sure if it's possible right now, but I think the template editor should be able to use HTML codes in text boxes. Like if I do this bold it will be bold.
I actually don't know much about HTML but I'm sure some people that do know HTML could benefit from this. =P

Able to bold, italic, change size, font, etc within a single text box.If you want something bold or underlined, you have to create 2 separate text boxes and have them aligned with each other. So much time would be saved if this was possible to do within the text box itself.

Drag and drop items in template editorIt's a bit of a pain in the ass to try and guess pixel by pixel where you want to put your text or pictures. Hell, I have to use photoshop first to and do a mock up on there then try to imitate that on Carousel's Template Editor. I think there should be a method where you can drag pictures, text boxes, etc in the Template Editor with the mouse.
Or at least include some kind of grid or ruler on the sides of the preview window with pixel numbers.

Possible autosave functionI suggest that Carousel have an autosave or recovery method for when you get logged off for being idle for too long. For example, if I'm working on a bulletin in the template editor then have to do something else for a while, then come back and try to click on something, I get logged off of Carousel and all that work I did in the template editor for that bulletin is lost.
Now I know there is a security feature where you can change the time of the Time Out time, but I've changed it to 60 minutes but still seems like it logs me off after 10 minutes. I did send this in as a bug report.

Carousel should rememer the positions of zone from removalI think Carousel should remember or save the position of a Zone when it gets removed from the Channel Zone Layout. Like if I add Zone A and B in my channel, then remove A to replace it for C, then I want to change back to A, it should remember where A was positioned and not reset the position back to 0,0.

Able to change all transitions to the same one in a groupI think there should be some kind of group transition function where you can set all the transitions in a group to the same one.

Able to ungroup bulletins in a group w/o ungrouping whole groupI think it would be pretty spiffy if you could ungroup a bulletin within a group without having to ungroup the entire group. If there is a way, there should at least be a single button to click to ungroup it.
ShadowSonic replied on November 14, 2008 19:33 to the problem "Updating bulletins in a large group causes timeouts or errors" in Tightrope Media Systems:
Hey John, it's when I make a change in, let's say, the Template Editor. Then I go to update that bulletin but since it's part of a group, it will update as a group and that's where it will take forever to update depending on how many slides are in that group. I have 40 in that group and it takes a long time to update. And actually, it gives me a Time out message or a server error message or something but it does actually save my change.

Updating bulletins in a large group causes timeouts or errorsWhen trying to update a bulletin in a group, it should have to only update that one bulletin and not have to update the entire group, which takes much longer if there are many bulletins in a group.
