Hello,
I deleted the article because no fix was happening for going on two days after I submitted the fix request. Of course I know the title case changes I submitted as a fix are impossible after deletion.
I gave up on the fix, after getting NO SATISFACTION with this help process. because 40 hours is too long to have to wait for simple typos to be corrected, in my view.
I still doubt my fix request went through at all.
There may be a glitch somewhere.
But after waiting well over 24 hours, more like 40 hours, and realizing this help desk cannot help in any practical way, I decided to delete the article from Triond and publish a new, improved, and revised version on my blog instead.
My blog version may not get the page-views it would have gotten on Triond, but it isn't an embarrassment, live on the web, lingering on, that I would be ashamed to draw anyone's attention to.
So there is no need to un-delete (and so forth) now.
What I have learned: Triond's fix process is broken or inadequate and I had better not make any more typos--ever.
This Get Satisfaction process did help me get in touch with my feelings about the problem! I found the emotion-face feature comforting and therapeutic.
It seems a shame that there is nothing anyone at Get Satisfaction can really do to help with issues like this, beyond reiterating the website process a user is reporting a problem with, and providing a venue for expressing dissatisfaction about that.
Thank-you, anyway, for responding even though you couldn't help!
Best Regards,
Elizabeth

There is still no good result to report after another couple of hours into day two since my fix request.
I do not think it should be this difficult to get a typo fixed in a live article.
I am dismayed to realize this help feature can offer no helping action to fix this problem.
Who else can help with this? I still feel there must be a glitch if the fix is supposed to be done within 24 hours of the request. I submitted the fix twice and on neither try did the screen indicate it went through.
Will it be necessary to delete this content (and my account as well) to fix this typo?
I consider this to be a terrible start with Triond, especially when I was very positive to begin with, and highly hopeful I would like publishing here. And I like the platform in general. Oh well.
Thank-you, anyway, even though you could not assist me with this.
No big deal for Triond if I delete my account, I imagine. This was only my second article so I realize it will be almost no loss to Triond.
There is another task I must get back to and I shall decide on deleting stuff after that, a couple more hours later.
Best Regards,
Elizabeth

It has been well over 24 hours since I requested this title typo fix.
I still require assistance with this problem.
Who else can I contact to get help with this?
What else can I do to ensure my content does not continue to be live as is?
It almost seems my only recourse is deletion!
Will you PLEASE help me now that my fix request is getting old?
Thank-you!
Best Regards,
Elizabeth

But there are still no pending revisions visible from my dashboard, which is why I wonder if something went wrong and no fix request went through for some reason.
Are you saying that submitted fixes do not show up under pending revisions?
What does pending revisions refer to, then?
Are you certain my fix request went through? Waiting 24 hours is not a problem unless it turns out there is a glitch and my fix request did not reach the editors.
Will you please check and let me know that the editors have the fix request?
Thank-you!

The url is:
http://socyberty.com/folklore/what-ar...
I hope the title can read:
What Are The Healing Properties Of Chalcopyrite Crystals?
One of these alternatives would be fine:
What are the Healing Properties of Chalcopyrite Crystals?
or
What are the healing properties of chalcopyrite crystals?
How do I submit fixes? I tried to do it from the Triond dashboard in Content where there was a Pencil with the word Fix. Is it necessary, for future reference to request fixes here instead?
Did you understand the information I submitted concerning this fix I requested?
Can you fix it, please, before I go nuts?
Thank-you for your consideration and help!

The content is at this url:
http://socyberty.com/folklore/what-ar...
The fix I requested is to change the beginning letters in 'are' and 'of; to upper case to match the word 'The'...or change the beginning letter in the word 'the' to lower case. As it stands now, it looks unprofessional to me.
I would be ecstatic if the title could read
What Are The Healing Properties Of Chalcopyrite Crystals?
Thanks for the help!
