How do I create new Expense categories

How do I do the following when trying to Explain a transaction:
1. Create new types of 'Admin Expense'. ie Parking
2. Create new types of 'Taxes'. ie Federal Tax and Provincial Tax

Thought I had tried every combination of Bank/Sort Code and Account number, but I just discovered I need to put leading zeros in front of the Bank/Sort Code. It works now. Thanks

FYI: Account Number and Bank/Sort Code are optional fields when creating a Bank Account.

Getting error when trying to upload statements in any format

I get 'There is no FreeAgent bank account which matches the data in your statement'
error when trying to upload any of the folllowing statement formats:
.ofx, .qfx, .aso, .qbo

I get 'The format of that CSV file has not been recognised' error when try to upload a .csv file.

I would like to know how I send fiscal year transactions to my accountant. Is there any feature like this? For example accountants copy, export to pdf, export to tab delimited, etc

I think export to accountants is really important. After my initial look, it seems to be the only thing missing for me.

Not all bank transactions are expenses

When I am importing from quickbooks (Bank Account) how do I tell the system that the amount of the transaction is a transfer (to my Visa account) and not actually an expense.
