I couldn't delete a Tweet in Firefox 3 beta 5, but was able to delete it in Opera 9.27, both on Ubuntu 8.04. Not sure if it's a caching thing or a problem with Firefox. Anyway, kinda confusing and frustrating, hope y'all figure it out.

Just tried deleting again today and it seems to work perfectly now on Firefox 2.0.0.14 using WinXP.

Was able to delete tweets from two different accounts without problems.

I can delete a tweet, but doing so takes me to whichever profile other than mine that I was looking at last.

very odd, but not causing me problems. maybe this info helps with the troubleshooting.

I don't know what the difference is, but I was able to delete one new tweet just now.

So I tried deleting the one that had failed to be deleted earlier. I still got the "something is technically wrong" page, but when I returned to my profile page, the tweet had been deleted.

Just chiming in to say that I'm also experiencing this problem now.

Tried to delete my most recent tweet but I find myself on the "Something is technically wrong" page.

Also tried to delete a tweet from four days ago and it too could not be deleted.

Apparently, @pacificIT also experienced this problem some hours earlier.

I just checked and I'm still able to delete direct messages (both sent to me and sent by me).

WinXP SP2, Firefox 2.0.0.14

I was unable to delete a tweet from Safari 3.1 on Mac OSX 10.5.2, when I tried it with Firefox 2.0.0.13, it worked.

I'm just as surprised as you to see that it won't work for you on Firefox. I use Firefox 2.0.0.12 myself on WinXP and the delete works fine for me.

I tried it again using Safari on Mac and it worked. It would not work with Firefox on Mac or PC.
There was no error message. It would give the dialog box to confirm deletion and then the page would refresh but the tweet would not delete.
