sheilaellen started following the problem "No Favorite Tags showing up in Firefox extension" in Delicious.
sheilaellen reported a problem in Delicious on September 12, 2008 10:27:
Bookmarks view is not working properlySeveral days ago all the 'favourite tags' that I'd added to my del.icio.us toolbar (Firefox extension) disappeared from the list of options available to me in 'bookmarks view' and so far I have been unable to re-add them.
These are the steps I'm following to try and re-add them:
- I open the 'Manage Favourite Tags' dialogue.
- When I type in the input field, the drop-down hint list works and I am able to select the tag I need.
- When I click on the 'add tag' button the tag is added to my list of 'favourite tags'
- When I click on the 'OK' button, the dialogue disappears (as expected) but the tags don't appear in the drop-down list for the 'bookmarks view'.
- When I re-open the 'Manage Favourite Tags' dialogue, the tags I just added have disappeared.

Good news for N96 users:
"Users of the Nokia N96 are to be among the first with the ability to run the BBC's iPlayer on their mobile phones. From 1 October a purpose-built application will be available to download via the BBC website and will also be pre-loaded on some handsets."

Shame it's still only restricted to a specific model though.-

A comment on the discussion "New website" in Open Rights Group:
Thanks, this is really useful feedback. The homepage is likely to become more portal-like. – sheilaellen, on August 13, 2008 19:48

Is there any information about these search methods anywhere on /programmes? – sheilaellen, on August 05, 2008 10:10
A comment on the question "Search!" in BBC:
These are really cool tips for the web-savvy, who are comfortable manipulating URLs (and know what Greasemonkey is!), but I don't think it's reasonable to expect that the average web user should manually edit the URL in order to search rather than browse. – sheilaellen, on August 05, 2008 10:03-

sheilaellen reported a problem in Last.fm on July 31, 2008 14:41:
Player updates require Administrator privilegesI'm unable to update the official Last.fm player (on Windows XP) because it requires me to have administrator privileges. Although I am lucky enough to have amenable Administrators who can be sweet talked into updating it every once in a while, this isn't nearly often enough to keep up with the latest version for longer than a few weeks or so.
I've been able to install other music players without this level of access being required so I would like to know if it's really necessary or just a 'nice to have'?-
