A comment on the problem "SMS not appearing on Twitter (UK)" in Twitter:
@James [bkkeepr] - When it first went down I presed the delete and start over button ro re-register my phone to see if that'd work but it wouldn't go through, but now it's registered again fine. Aaah, good news! My txt updates have just started working again! Noticed a little 'Device Updates" link in the right bar of my homepage, so I thought I'd give it a go and it's registered and updated right away! That's on my o2 phone, so give it a go, thy may just have fixed it :) -

I'm having the same problem, and my last successful txt update was on Thurs 12th at 4.45pm. I'm on O2 in the UK. Tried deleting and re-registering but it's not working. Phone says the txts are being sent fine but theyre not getting there. Something must've happened to the UK txt service on Thursday last week then! I messaged the support peoples and still no reply. Been using mobile web, but that costs me money where as texts dont, so very annoying! -

Phone updates stopped working, and re-registering failed! (uk o2)On signing up to twitter, I registered my UK o2 pay as you go mobile number, it worked right away, and I was able to update my profile by text message. But after a day, it stopped working all the time, then stopped all together. I tried deleting my device and re-registering, but now it won't register at all. My phone says the message with the code in has sent fine, and I'm using the same number saved in my phone book that worked fine before. But it still wont register! Very frustrating! Any ideas?
