Very strange...I guess it must be only certain wallpapers? Maybe I will try using several different wallpapers and see what happens.

Edit: I will also try lowering settings.

So... I would need to download a lower resolution of the wallpaper I'm using, and use that?

Same problem here, I'm on 32bit vista with the Bumptop graphical settings maxed.

I have the same problem, but with all graphical settings maxed. Reapplying the wallpaper solves the problem, but it is very annoying to have the program start with such poor image quality.
