Deleting songbird profile on a Mac Laptop?Downloaded Songbird 1.2 on modern Apple Mac laptop. Loaded a dozen or so Add-ons in one go i.e. didn't restart Songbird on each occasion (daft, I know). Now it wont open properly - no graphical interface although it will still play via the small menu available in the dock.
I think one of the add-ons is causing a conflict as it was running fine with the standard set.
How can I remove the add-ons without the Songbird graphical interface on a Mac?
Or how can I delete the Songbird Profile so I can start again?
I should add that I'm familiar with both Linux & Windows but not the Apple system.
A comment on the idea "CD Rip / Burn Support" in Songbird:
Around 400 CDs in collection, 2-3 CD rips per week, buy 6-8 CDs per month. Buy CDs secondhand also. Songbird is excellent but missing this normally standard & expected feature. Ta. – siabost, on January 25, 2009 11:38-

I run Ubuntu 8.04 and Magnatune/Shoutcast only play for a few seconds, similar to above, before stopping & freezing up Songbird.
On starting Songbird in Terminal I get this:
(songbird-bin:12244): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: cannot register existing type `GstRtpSsrcDemux'
(songbird-bin:12244): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_element_register: assertion `g_type_is_a (type, GST_TYPE_ELEMENT)' failed
Any ideas?
Thanks-

Ubuntu8.04: Shoutcast/Magnatune - play stopsHi All,
I run Ubuntu 8.04 on a Dell Celeron powered Desktop PC.
I recently installed Songbird 1 via getdeb & added the following add-ons:
Shoutcast
Magnatune
Song Notifier
Mediaflow
Album View
YABS Black Skin
Pause/Play/Stop buttons
When selecting a Shoutcast station it plays for 4secs before stopping & freezing the player - the same happens with Magnatune after 15secs. Music from the library plays fine.
I have no problem with Shoutcast or Magnatune when using other players i.e. Rhythmbox or Amarok.
Anyone got any ideas?
The ideas behind Songbird are great and it looks VERY promising.
Many thanks.
