A comment on the question "Who can I contact for customer support on Obama store purchases?" in Barack Obama:
This had nothing to do with my original question. I believe the website you are looking for is foxnews.com. However, to answer your question, I support Obama for the following reasons:
1. His tax plan finally puts the middle class and struggling Americans first. John McCain can say what he wants about America having the highest business taxes in the world, but his own pick for Treasury Secretary, Warren Buffet, is saying the rich don't pay enough taxes and that Buffet himself is currently paying the lowest taxes he has in his life. Considering the costs of the bailout plan and the $10B dollar/month expense of the Iraq War (which Obama rightly did not support from the beginning) we either have to pay more taxes as Americans or borrow the money from countries that don't like us very much. The wealthy have had a reprieve for 8 years, it's about time they paid their share.
2. I currently am lucky enough to have employer paid health benefits which are worth substantially more that $5,000. With McCain's plan I could lose my health care.
3. The biggest decision a candidate makes is the selection of a VP. Barack Obama chose someone smart, tough and experienced who would help him govern. McCain put country second to ambition when he chose a right wing nut job he barely knew for the purpose of winning the election (a plan even more idiotic than his laughable campaign suspension)
Finally, even if I never get my t-shirts, I will still be glad I gave money to this campaign. This is a time when the country need to come together, and the fear mongering being done by McCain/Palin ticket is only hurting us. Nobody want to hear about Bill Ayers and what he was doing when Obama was 8.
You wanted one extraordinary thing? Rallying Americans around a belief of hope in the future in this troubled times isn't enough? Being right on the Iraq War? How about the fact that someone with his obvious brains could be making a killing in the private sector, but instead became a community organizer after college, helping people find jobs and get into college?
Now, perhaps someone could be so kind as to answer my original question on customer support?
