Maybe everyone else thinks that your question is not important enough and that you are just one of "those" people who love to make something out of nothing. Grow up and read lables and if there is something in it that you don't want, don't buy it.
Geeze, Now I am looking for an intelegent response from you.

while I understand that, it should not be that way. if at&t really wants customers to be happy they need to get their stuff together and stop dropping the ball on things that should be a no brainer. – Simi, on February 21, 2009 22:25

Sunday is part of the weekend... if you have free nights and weekends (which you probably do) you should never have been charged for that... not in a million years... *grrrr* Just sayin... if I were you I would tell them to fix it and fix it now with out the "go ahead and pay the bill" bullshit or you will be going over to verizon. I am with verizon, I love them, Even while I worked for at&t I had verizon.
A comment on the problem "apple allows itunes FRAUD! report them to the FTC!!" in Apple:
No, this is not like suing a bar because they let you get drunk. This is a large corporation who requires you to give them your credit card information just to use a free one time only download coupon that they put in starbucks' or give out for events.
(just to be clear... I LOVE my mac products... ALL of them. But I am not the kind of consumer to let something like this happen to me. It is easy enough to just go buy the CD from the store and have a hard copy in case something does happen to your computer) – Simi, on February 21, 2009 22:15

yeah... dont call me the freak-show when the only reason why I have gone to the doctor in the last 10 years has been for just routine check ups.
if you want to eat natural foods, awesome. BUT just because a company sells a product does not mean you have to buy it. Whole Foods is a business, and if business sells a product because it pays the bills, well.. there is nothing you can do about it unless it is taboo for them to be selling it in the first place. Try Trader Joes... they even have gluten free candy.

That is stupid. It is just a number. AT&T is just making peoples life harder. And trying to make extra money doing it. – Simi, on February 20, 2009 23:06

Yes, you can reach at&t on sunday at this number... when it works... and when there is not 50million people on hold other than you.
BTW... half of the numbers that the at&t reps have take you in loops or are disconnected. Seriously have everyones rolodex updated. – Simi, on February 20, 2009 22:59
Simi replied on February 20, 2009 22:43 to the question "Why do you support high fructose corn syrup?" in Whole Foods Market:
Is honey healthier than sugar or high fructose corn syrup?
No. All caloric (nutritive) sweeteners are carbohydrates that provide energy our bodies need. Honey also contain proteins, amino acids, vitamins and minerals, but since all of these compounds together make up less than 0.5% of honey, you would have to consume vast quantities to gain this additional nutritional value. (2)
Is high fructose corn syrup sweeter than sugar?
No. High fructose corn syrup is not sweeter than sugar. When high fructose corn syrup was created it was specifically formulated to provide sweetness equivalent to sucrose (table sugar). In order for food and beverage makers to use high fructose corn syrup in place of sucrose, it was important that it provide the same level of sweetness as sucrose so that consumers would not perceive a difference in product sweetness and taste. (7)
What’s the difference between fructose, corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup?
The terms fructose, corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup are sometimes incorrectly used interchangeably. They have widely different compositions and perform distinctly different functions in foods and beverages. Fructose is a simple sugar commonly found in sugar, fruits and honey. Corn syrup, which is entirely glucose-based, is used as a non-sweet thickener. High fructose corn syrup is a sweetener that's made of nearly equal portions of fructose and glucose. (7)
Does high fructose corn syrup have a lot of fructose in it?
High fructose corn syrup got its name from the fact that it is high in fructose relative to corn syrup. However, high fructose corn syrup has approximately the same amount of fructose as that found in sugar or honey. (7)
Is high fructose corn syrup metabolized differently than other sweeteners?
No. The myth that high fructose corn syrup is metabolized differently than other caloric (nutritive) sweeteners is based on studies that looked at pure fructose, not the mixture of fructose and glucose found in high fructose corn syrup. The most recent metabolic research published in the February 2007 edition of Nutrition found “no differences in the metabolic effects” of high fructose corn syrup and sucrose on circulating levels of glucose, leptin, insulin and ghrelin in a study group of lean women. A comment on the problem "apple allows itunes FRAUD! report them to the FTC!!" in Apple:
its not about being responsible or not. in that case the responsible thing would be to not let anyone even have the option to stay logged in. The responsible thing to do would be for apple to let people sign up and be able NOT to have a card associated with their account where someone could hack in and even get the card info that way. – Simi, on February 20, 2009 22:38

I don't see why you even have to give them a card number just to be able to have an account with them. Heres the thing with that. One of my friends never signs out and leaves itunes on and running on her laptop. guess what... laptop gets stolen... her account gets run into the ground. Humm... I think apple should change their policy.

Simi replied on February 14, 2009 08:58 to the problem "Rude service at walmart" in Wal-Mart:
I agree with Conexion. And Wal-Mart's policy is no last names. (even the managers usually only see the first 3 initals of your last name after you are hired) It is for security reasons such as to keep irate customers from going to the DMV finding out your tag number and then slicing the tires on their car. You are not entitled to anything farther than a first name and a position that they work in. Also, Wal-Mart may be a 24 hour store, but certain departments (such as automotive where the car stereo is) are service based and only operate from around 7 am to 9 pm, after that the keys are locked up and no one is supposed to get them... that is how theft happens inside the store. If someone tells you they cannot do something it is because they do not have authorization to do so. So don't threaten them by calling a manager or something, the only thing they will do is either ask you to come back later or get the item for you then let you wait until you are ready to check out at the front of the store then make you stand around until they bring the item to you so you can pay for it. Unless it is an emergency you really are just better off waiting until the next day.
Sheilz- I am sorry that you had to go though something like that. I know that can be difficult. You should report it by calling 800-wal-mart.
Simi replied on February 14, 2009 08:45 to the problem "Wal-mart Employees Show Their Distain For Customers" in Wal-Mart:
having worked at a walmart, the cashier was probably told to close their line because it was time for them to leave (and walmart dose not like to pay over time) Dont even think of blaming an hourly associate for much of anything you find wrong with the store (they are only doing what they were told to do because they want to keep their job)... the only time you can blame them is if they are rude to you for no reason (that is their problem) If you have a problem with long lines talk to the managers and explain that you think it is a good idea for them to have more cashiers at 11pm at night. If a manager turns their back on you, file a complaint by calling 800-wal-mart.
Just remember... the moment you get an attitude or think that you deserve better treatment or think that you are more important than something that is already going on... you have already lost the interest of the associate trying to help you. In this world you get better and more helpful service by being nice to those who are trying to help.
