A comment on the idea "Help! I don't want to paginate!" in Six Apart:
That's actually a much better idea than the previously lobbied for 1000 comments per page. Have each page of 100 or 200 comments or whatever, and a "show all comments" link, a la Youtube. – Simply Yum!, on December 06, 2009 18:21

Wouldn't want to crash the internet! Like typing "Google" into Google. :-P
More happy now it's being looked into :D – Simply Yum!, on December 02, 2009 18:20-

A comment on the question "Images in horizontal row preference. How?" in Six Apart:
Very true about the malformed code, I've fallen foul to this before when copy pasting documents into an email.
I should have stipulated switching to HTML view then copying ONLY the code pertinent to creating the table.
I used this method to properly align the images with the bullet list text on the recipe page of my blog.

A comment on the question "How to Get Email with Typepad Website?" in Six Apart:
Thankyou so much for this! I didn't think about a third party email host. It's a shame Typepad can't pick up the reigns on this instead so people wouldn't have to fork out more money.
I've only just noticed the reply to this 'cause my getsatisfaction account was still sending update emails to my old address >.<
Thankyou again for your help :-D – Simply Yum!, on November 24, 2009 16:31

I got the EXACT same problem less than an hour ago :o
I found I could post a comment if I had the typepad dashboard open in a new tab on my browser.
I don't know what the comment will look like though on the page 'cause it "needs to be owner approved" :P – Simply Yum!, on November 03, 2009 19:06
Simply Yum! replied on November 03, 2009 18:45 to the question "How do I add additional links to the navigation bar?" in Six Apart:
I don't think this would be possible without some major CSS hack or using advanced templates.
I'd recommend having a main set of links occupying the ten available slots in the navigation bar, the ones you want readers to click on the most, or the ones you feel would be more beneficial to readers of your blog, and have the remaining links in a typelist on the sidebar.

A comment on the problem "Removing the Powered by Typepad graphic" in Six Apart:
I have this problem also, and yes it is connected to the "Typepad Connect Comments" engine. Disabling this feature shouldn't have to be the solution. I don't really mind the logo, but it makes the page somewhat untidy. At least change the colour from battleship grey? – Simply Yum!, on November 03, 2009 17:32

Simply Yum! replied on October 31, 2009 02:06 to the question "Images in horizontal row preference. How?" in Six Apart:
This is a very common problem due to the very linear (top to bottom) way in which raw HTML works. I've had success when designing websites by putting the images in individual cells of a table. If you have a word processor package like Word or MS Works, you can draw the table in a new document then copy/paste it into Typepad's compose box.
Simply Yum! replied on October 29, 2009 22:07 to the problem "Posts are not shared with Facebook" in Six Apart:
I have the same problem with my blog, but then my blog is uber new (two posts! woow!). The first post went to facebook, but not the second. I'm wondering if it's a problem with facebook itself, as it also took a long time for notes to synchronise to another (more posts) blog I had before the Typepad one.-
