After the recent launch, some of the v1 APIs may be brittle.
I recommend you update to the new v2 APIs: http://postrank.com/developers

Have you installed any new extensions recently or anything else that may have caused the slowdown? Are you using the Greasemonkey script or the extension version? – Stephen Paul Weber, on October 15, 2008 19:28

I want to be able to import my profile data from existing servicesIf I enter to the profile editor that I'm "singpolyma.net" there is no reason I should have to type any of the data chi.mp is asking for.-

OpenID SupportI know this will be no new idea, but is there an official Pownce position on OpenID? I'd almost like to begin reccemending it to people - but most people I know won't create another social media account to save their life...
Stephen Paul Weber replied on July 04, 2008 01:05 to the question "Support in Libraries" in Vidoop:
Ok... I was under the impression that emailtoid reccomended flow was:
* Do discovery on the "proper" URL" (ie, http://user@example.com/)
* If that fails, do directed identity on domain (ie, example.com)
* If that fails, use emailtoid
EAUT seems more about some broken way of "mapping" email addresses onto URL patterns...
Stephen Paul Weber asked a question in Vidoop on July 03, 2008 22:19:
Support in LibrariesI love the discover-on-URL, discover-on-domain, fallback-to-emailtoid path you recommend. Any tips on how to do this with existing libraries (mostly the JanRain libraries).

OpenID SelectorIt would be awesome if emailtoid were integrated with JanRain's idselector project so that users could click "email" and enter their email and have it use emailtoid
