Stephen Paul Weber replied on May 27, 2008 22:51 to the question "How does Mento integrate with Tumblr, FriendFeed, and Ma.gnolia?" in Mento:
One thing I'd like to see is sharing with friends on the other services. I would like to see a list of my mento friends, my ma.gnolia contacts, and my del.icio.us network, and be able to send links to ma.gnolia and del.ico.us users using ma.gnolia 'send a link' and del.icio.us 'for:' tags, respectively.-

Stephen Paul Weber reported a problem in Brightkite on May 27, 2008 20:23:
Canada is not CaliforniaWhen I set my location to a Canadian location (ie, all of them, since I live in Canada) - BriteKite seems to work fine at first, but then I notice that it says Canada (CA), and am suspicious that it may think CA is california (I did not enter CA, I entered Waterloo, ON and the CA was added by BriteKite) - I then notice that BriteKite has told FireEagle I am in California? What??

More specific locationsIt would be cool if I could add a more specific label to my current location (such as a room number) for humans to see exactly where I am.

Profit Sharing ProgramWhat happens to the advertising dollars generated by Amateur Writerz? Right now, there is not enough of it to cover the costs of maintaining the site, but we hope that as the site expands this will no longer be the case. In the future we plan to put a profit-sharing program in place that will distribute all profits evenly among authors who publish under the creative commons, with the exact share of profit based on rank.
Keep an eye on this thread for future updates!

Twitter Integration / API?Not sure where you guys stand on this kind of stuff, but integration with other services (especially Twitter) would be excellent.
A decent API could make such integrations flourish because others (like me) will build them for you :)
Stephen Paul Weber replied on May 03, 2008 15:06 to the problem "CSS b0rken" in Mento:
Basically, I have changed my browser default CSS - so, for example, body, html {background-color:#999;} is the browser default unless the site specifies otherwise (so if you assume that everyone's browser shows white when you do nothing, this is not a true assumption).
So, yes, I would say specify bg+fg more explicitly. The tip I usually give site designers is: if you specify background, specify foreground, and vice-versa
