My Laptop Seems to Be Heating up Rapidly....ok, So my inspiron 1420 is heating up very rapidly. what do i do? it feels like a heater. and actually starts to burn if i touch it for too long.... so what goes on here?? my laptop is still under warranty but as with the same problem before, I have class all day usually from 8am to 6pm and then work. so how do i get it fixed?? i need my laptop for class so sending it to dell and waiting 3 -4 weeks is not an option. what are my other options???

ok, the tech called me, but the only times he was available was when i was at school or at work. I even asked him if he was able to meet me at my school located in downtown brooklyn, (NYU:Poly), and he couldnt do that either. Now he calls me today and tells me that he cant repair my laptop anymore because he can only leave the repair window open for 5 days. What do I do now?

Why are dell keyboards so flimsy?ok, i was talking on my cell phone and it fell out of my hand. it hit maybe 3 keys and they are broken. i have accidental damage. Will dell replace just the keyboard? Seeing as they refused to replace anything else? ( LCD has a strand of hair behind it and they refused to do anything about it, the rep told me to , and i quote "live with it" )
Sinikal asked a question in Dell on October 09, 2008 01:56:
The Inspiron 1420 that Should have been an XPSThe Inspiron 1420 and the problem I seem to have. The first inspiron i received last year had a bad motherboard and dell promptly replaced the laptop when they could have just sent a tech over with a new motherboard. now when i have other problems (Mouse pad heating up, keyboard keys sticking, laptop over heating), they want to send other a tech instead of replacing the laptop. Why oh why did i pay for a 3 year warranty with accidental damage if they wont replace the laptop when its needed and replace it when its not. I have classes everyday and i use the laptop everyday despite these really annoying problems? There is no way i can wait at home for a technician, when i need to go to class? What do i have to do to get somebody who understands?? Should i ask for level 3 tech support?
