Sir_Sid gave praise in Dell on August 01, 2009 04:10:
Great for do it yourselfersTheir tech support really is flexible for those do it yourselfers. They dont force a technician on you if you think you can install a broken piece of hardware yourself.
They shipped me a new bluetooth chip for my laptop in only a day and I didnt have to schedule an appointment. Just popped it in myself which much less hassle.

Michael Purses' reply to "Share Library between multiple PC's (and OS's)" was just promoted to the most useful! Sir_Sid and 3 other people think it's one of the best replies.
@ carl
Have you tried Dropbox-ing your profiles.. If all your computers are the same OS, then it should work by pointing your dropbox folder to your Profile Folder... All you would have to worry about is make sure you are running the same Songbird version on all your computers...

Sir_Sid shared an idea in Songbird on June 11, 2009 23:45:
Import play counts from last.fmiTunes has this addon of sorts called iTunes Store file validator which has the very useful ability of "reverse scrobbling" as they call it. It basically imports the play counts from last fm back into itunes.
I think this could be a useful addon which would allow people who have lost their collection to get some of their data back. Additionally a rating system based on loved songs could be implemented to help build or rebuild a rating database.
Im sure there are many many people who have lots of info stored on last.fm and this is one great way to put that info to use.
