uhm, at the top, in the side there's an icon to remove it.

disabling album art manager, and the little album cover art display at the bottom left corner apparently fixed the problem.. can you confirm this Alex?

If this is the problem, I'll debug the bug, and file it to the albumartmanager devs.. maybe it has something to do to modifying the file being played, (maybe to change metadata?) I dunno..

I've disabled Album Art Manager, hided the little panel of the cover in the bottom left corner, and I havent had a system freeze since then.

A system freeze has to be caused by kernel errors, or driver errors.. I've upgraded my graphic's card driver, X.org nor ALSA have a newer version, and I have the newest kernel.. =|

It's apparently a bug in X.. I've seen a same issue on firefox users, and the solution was disabling the daemon that is in charge of hard drive frequency.. but that doesnt work.

There are no logs on X.0.log nor in kernel log..

I've found a niver way of restarting the computer.. (Alt+SysReq[Print Screen]+R E I S U B) but still, I can't un-freeze the computer,

I'll try to SSH to my computer tomorrow when it's freezed to see if there's any way of watching what's going on.

One other thing, when I say my whole computer freezes, I mean, "all", like in, "CapsLock" wont even turn on the little light in the keyboard, and control+alt+backspace wont restart X, etc..
