Hello,
Thank you for writing. i believe the CD content you are looking for is available on Safari. When you are reading the book, at the top and bottom of the reading panel is a blue navigation bar that says "Table of Contents", "Index" and "Examples." Clicking on "Examples" will take you to a link that allows you to download a zip file that should contain the CD contents. Yes. The files are available.
Once you log in as a paying user, you will see an "Examples" link below the cover image on http://safari.oreilly.com/0131872494 that will include the files from the book's CD.
