Reply to Peter - I am having a similar problem with stalled uploads - usually just on the very first file.
The HTML uploader works - but dude, it's only one at a time and I have 30 or 40 images to upload! Could we please get this fixed? (It's a new problem for me, within the last week.)

could not convert icon = :(
"could not convert" message after dropping photos, starting this weekend - why?? I've never seen this before, but it's showing up for multiple images in a multi-photo drop, both when dropping through IE and Firefox 3. Sometimes re-dropping the problem photos fixes it, sometimes it doesn't. What's up with this?
