got specs for fury 2008/9? as my manual is way out of date..
my manual has a 2004 date on it.. got it with my old 2006 fury

i have a manual here for all the old frames..
this is what it says for zen at time of print

main pivot 15 ft-lbs (20.3 N-m)
shock bolts 70 in-lbs (8 N-m)
link bolts 70 in-lbs (8 N-m)
pinch bolt 65 in-lbs (7.3 N-m)

well i got them and there fitted.
seem a little stiff for my puny weight. but should loosen up a bit in time.
will update with some pics soon
does feel a bit better. there only just over an inch longer
wheelbase stays the same but head angle slightly dif.
only been round town with them sofar. but liked them alot

Pike's for my Fury?

i posted this on MTBR forum. but put it here aswell as im sure some peeps dont visit both

ive come to the conclusion that my magura menja air forks make my head angle to steap
they got about 4.5 to 5" travel.
even turning on slight downward paths trys to kick me over the bars or just slip the front wheel out
.
the measurment from the crown race to the center of the quick release is just short of 20"
and from front QR to rear (wheelbase) is 44"

i see alot of peeps with pikes.. is it the 454? i dont want a pop lock thingy for my bars.
the lockout option on the fork is nice..as i have it on my menja,s but never realy use it
i think the extra travel on the pike might slacken the angle for me enough

can anyone with pikes please measure from top of crown/crown race area to the center of there axle and wheelbase for me please.

most mountain cycles have built in cable thingys. the cable sits on them ,there is a little hole,and you tie up with a zip tie.hope this pic helps.

got any piks of the frame?

from what i hear..MC dont have the press used to make the san andreas anymore.
but there was talk of a aniversary version.so maybe they do have a press :P

have you tried emailing them?,i know they had some old ex demo frames left over.. but not sure on what they was.

also keep your eyes peeled on ebay. seen a lot of san's go through there

i have just picked up a 2004 manual with spec's for all the bikes of that time.. very handy
