Sandy Kemsley replied on November 07, 2008 14:41 to the problem "Profile photo upload problems" in SlideShare:
I have uploaded an image as a logo for my group, but now I can't change it to another image. When I go to the "edit this group" screen, browse for a new image then save the group, the old image still appears.
By the way, "Sorry for this problem, this is a bug in our code , we shall fix this in a day or two" is not sufficient cause to mark the issue as resolved. You should leave this as an open issue until you've actually fixed the problem, not just until you promise to fix the problem.

I'm having the same problem too. I just created my first group (http://www.slideshare.net/group/busin...); if I go to the main group screen, I see the list of members in the sidebar, but if I go to the members screen, the list is blank.

Mario, you totally rock! I will test this (I'm using identi.ca) and let you know how it works.
Feedback so far: in my list of Twitterfeeds, the left column always points to my Twitter address, even for feeds set up for identi.ca -- I have to actually edit the feed to figure out which is for Twitter and which is for identi.ca.
Sandy Kemsley replied on July 29, 2008 18:15 to the question "Any plans to support identi.ca in the Overheard tab?" in Get Satisfaction:
Scott, thanks for your reply. I'm seeing a rapid adoption of identi.ca amongst the tech community, who are probably also more likely to be Get Satisfaction users.
identi.ca now has a Twitter-compatible API, which made it possible for Twhirl to release identi.ca support so quickly. Also, search results in identi.ca all provide RSS feeds, which is another potential method of integration. Of course, I have no idea how you're actually integrating Twitter, I'm just thinking that integrating identi.ca could provide a significant reach into the leading-edge tech community for a relatively small effort.

Any plans to support identi.ca in the Overheard tab?The Overheard tab is great -- I didn't even know that it existed until I received an auto @reply that one of my tweets had resulted in a new topic. Are there any plans to integrate an identi.ca search for a company into the same stream?

Never mind, I just found a way to thwart your attempts to resize my window: http://osxdaily.com/2007/04/11/disabl...
Still, resizing of a potentially shared browser window should never be done.
Sandy Kemsley replied on July 29, 2008 11:07 to the question "Bigger Windows Are Better!" in Obeo:
Thanks for picking this up on Twitter!
I typically have my browser (Firefox) open, placed and resized where I want it on the screen, with several tabs open. I don't want a site that I visit to resize that window, since it impacts all the other tabs that I have open as well. Proper browser etiquette is either open your own window (not tab) and resize it, or leave the size alone.

Twitterfeed to Identi.caIt would be great to have a version of Twitterfeed that can post to Identi.ca, too: more of a microbloggingfeed than just Twitterfeed.
I love being able to have a link to my blog posts cross-posted to Twitter, but I still need to enter them manually on Identi.ca. Eventually, when the microblogging services start to adhere to the open standards, we could all be using different platforms, and need to have tools like Twitterfeed that can update more than one platform.

Sandy Kemsley replied on July 03, 2008 19:40 to the question "Can I use Ping.fm with Identi.ca via OpenID?" in Ping.fm:
That doesn't work for me: identi.ca never sends me a password recovery email (I assume because I originally signed up using OpenID).
Just to clarify, I do the following steps:
1. Logout from identi.ca
2. Click Login
3. Click "Lost or forgotten password?"
4. Provide my screen name or email address (I've tried both) and click Recover.
I've checked that my email is correct on my profile, so that's not the problem.
Is there any way to access identi.ca directly with the OpenID credentials?

Can I get an RSS feed of all my contacts' slideshows?I know that I can subscribe to an RSS feed of each of my contacts individually, but is it possible to get a single RSS feed of all of my contacts, such that when I add a new contact, their slideshows are automatically added to the feed?
