Also, if you are trying to do that on a Mac, you have to go to /Applications/Miro, cmd+click and Show package contents. Once the contents show up, continue on to Contents/Resources/locale/ delete other languages and leave only the one you want. If all else fails, you can redownload Miro and have it the way it was before, in the OS prefered language.

It boggles my mind that the developers don't include the option of switching locale. Sometimes localizations are not the best option for those who speak English very well and hate the confusion.
