skinneejoe started following the question "Imeem ruined Songza!" in Songza.
skinneejoe reported a problem in Songza on February 13, 2009 15:08:
What happened to the stability?I have to say that I love Songza. I've been using it for a long time now. It's certainly had it's ups and downs - for a while it seemed it was difficult to even get a song to play. But eventually the bugs slowly were worked out until - BAM! it was rock solid! I could have almost DJ'd a wedding with it! But something happened...
Ever since the IMeem player's buttons turned grey instead of orange, the stability took a dump. I don't know if the change in button color indicates that IMeem changed their service and Songza had to accommodate, but whatever happened I now have a lot of problems:
1. Songza is very flakey in Google Chrome, tough to get songs to play at all - it used to work perfect
2. In IE/Chrome songs will suddenly just stop in the middle and go to the next one
3. Sometimes when it moves to the next song, it stops and I have to press play to keep the playlist going.
4. I can't pause with the Navbar at the bottom of Songza - if I do it stops the song and restarts it when I press play
5. If I pause a song via the IMeem player, the song pauses but after about 4min of pause time it just moves to the next song.
I thought for a long time that Songza should tap into IMeem. And for a while it was utopia! What happened? Is there any hope for the future?

Songza for Windows MobileJust curious if anybody has thought of developing a mobile app for songza. I have a windows mobile phone and I think it would be pretty sweet if I could stream my playlist to it somehow. I hope the Songza guys get this...
