tried that... doesn't fix it.
the printers do not show up under print & fax
in fact when i go to the system profiler...this is what it says under firewire:
(one of my epsons is cabled via firewire)
Unknown device
EP1394D3 Printer
ATA device 00
Unknown Device
and under usb it does not list a printer
(one of my epsons is cabled via firewire)
and under printers it only lists the one that is remote
using the wireless router
????????

This very well may be an issue that Epson needs to fix. I know that they have some drivers (Public BETA Leopard Printer Drivers, they call them) on this page of their Web site: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/su...
I would install the right ones (there are two) and see if you're still having this problem. Unless, of course, you've already tried that.
skirch reported a problem in Apple on July 02, 2008 20:31:
Leopard doesn't "see" printersEver since I installed Leopard (I have now updated to 10.5.4) my Dual 2.3 PowerPC G5 does not recognize that my printers (Epson 9800 firewire and an Epson 3800 ethernet) are connected to the computer. I have installed the latest drivers but cannot "add a printer" because they do not show up in the list and there is nothing to add. I can print to a wireless net printer but cannot SEE the ones that are actually hooked up.
