Stepan Mazurov marked one of Chris Clark's replies in Tapulous as useful. Chris Clark replied to the question "TTR contest winners? account deleted and i came in top 3".

This is a crazy problem, what kind of voodoo is Adobe AIR doing on the Mac to open a link? Why does it differ from the default behaviour of opening a link from any other normal application on the Mac OS, which works fine and lets the default browser i.e. Firefox open a new tab, if that's the desired user preference. This just makes no sense and needs to be fixed, not maybe, not perhaps - it should be fixed, and it should be made a priority.

Since the problem in the mac with Firefox, does that mean it will never be fixed because we are a minority? At least and ETA or something along the lines of 'it will be fixed in 1.2' would be plenty, but acknowledging the problem and then shoving it aside is not very good PR.
I consider this a MAJOR problem with mac version of your software, downright usable.

It looks like for your account (and some others), Pownce is giving us a 500 error, while other accounts (like mine) are working fine. I'll ask the Pownce team if they can figure out what is going on. As far as I know we are making the requests correctly since other accounts are working fine. I'll keep you updated. – Wade Simmons, on May 14, 2008 02:43

I did and it still doesn't work. on safari and firefox. i even cleared cookies. And also used my EVDO card. Also used my iPhone using EDGE, and it still the same problem. So maybe an issue with my specific account or pownce? – zerock, on May 14, 2008 02:25
