    Snapact Support
Viewing a photo in "Full Screen" mode is great when you want to showcase the photos on your computer to your friends and family.

Here is how you can view a photo in "Full Screen" mode with Snapact Photo Manager:

    1) Launch Snapact Photo Manager.

    2) Once you have launched Snapact Photo Manager, the software will start in "Thumbnail View" mode for easy viewing and searching for your photos.

    3) Double-click on a photo, or select a photo with your mouse (single-left click) and press the "Enter" key on your keyboard to enter "Viewer" mode. Pressing the "Enter" key again will return you to thumbnail view mode.

    4) Once you double-click on a photo, or press the "Enter" key on a selected photo, you will enter the "Viewer" mode of Snapact (where a larger version of your selected photo will be displayed), and a group of "Edit" features along the top toolbar of the Viewer mode screen will be available. The thumbnail scroll bar is located along the bottom of the Viewer mode screen so that you can easily navigate to other photos available in your selected folder.

    5) To view your photos in "Full Screen" mode, simply press the "F" key on your keyboard. Pressing the "F" key again in Full Screen mode will return you to Viewer mode. In Full Screen mode, you can navigate through your photos by pressing the "Left" and "Right" arrow keys. If you press the "Enter" key in Full Screen mode, you will be returned to the Thumbnail View mode.

Snapact Support replied on October 06, 2008 06:02 to the question "How do you invite other Snapact Users to become connected to you as "Friends" ?" in Snapact:

    Snapact Support
If you are searching for Snapact users or find a Snapact user who you would like to be connected to as "Friends", you can send a request to become "Friends" through the Snapact online community.

Here are the steps to invite a Snapact user to become "Friends"

    1) Search for Snapact users with the Snapact Online Community "Search" feature. The Search box is located in the top left tower bar just beneath the Snapact logo. To search for Snapact users, simply add the first name or last name of a Snapact user and press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.

    2) Next, you will see some search results returned. Immediately beneath the Search box, new fields will appear titled, "Search by.... Photos, Albums, Tags, Users". The search term will still be in the Search box. To search for users with that specific search term, click "Users". Next, you will see results for Snapact "Users" with the specific Search term that you have entered.

    3) To invite other Snapact users to be connected to you as "Friends", you will first need to sign in to your Snapact online community account. You will not be able to invite any Snapact users unless you have created a Snapact online community account and "Signed in". Once you have signed in to your Snapact online community account, click the Snapact user name and you will see a navigation pane on the left side of the web page titled "Action".

    4) In the "Action" navigation pane, you will be able to either send a message to the Snapact user, or you can request to become "Friends" by clicking "Add to friends". If you click "Add to friends", the recipient of the request will receive a message in their Snapact account for a request to become "Friends". The recipient's options are to either "Accept", "Ignore", or "Deny" the request. Any "Messages" received through Snapact can be viewed once you sign in to your Snapact online community account. The top navigation pane of the Snapact Online Community will display "Home", "Profile", and "Messages" when you sign in. The number of messages will be displayed next to the "Messages" link.

Snapact is a great tool to control who can and can't view the photos and albums that you have published for sharing with your friends and family.

    Snapact Support
If you are searching for Snapact users or find a Snapact user who has set their Snapact profile to "Private", you can send a request to become "Friends" through the Snapact online community.

Here are the steps to invite a "Private" Snapact user to become "Friends"

    3) Snapact users with "Private" profiles will display a "lock" in their thumbnail profile image. Beneath the Snapact user's name, you will see the following text "The privacy settings for this profile prevent you from viewing it". If you wish to add a Snapact user who has set it's profile as "Private", you will need to sign in to your Snapact account. You will not be able to invite any "Private" Snapact users unless you have created a Snapact online community account and "Signed in".

Note: by setting your profile privacy to "Private", public users will not be able to view your albums, your Friends, or any details of your Snapact Online Community Profile. However, you can set your Profile Privacy to "Private" and still share/publish Public albums and photos that can be searchable and viewable by anyone. If a user views a public photo or album and tries to click the link leading back to the Snapact user (who published the album(s) and photo(s) and has set their profile privacy to "Private"), they will not be able to view any of the Snapact user's profile details.

Snapact is a great tool to control who can and can't view the photos and albums that you have published for sharing with your friends and family.

Snapact Support replied on October 02, 2008 06:28 to the question "Who can you share your Snapact albums and photos with?" in Snapact:

    Snapact Support
With Snapact, you are in full control of who you share your albums and photos with, and when you want to share them.

The team at Snapact has created a photo sharing solution with some pretty cool and innovative technology. When you create a Snapact album, you can decide who can view your albums. You can also decide who can view your albums, photos, and online profile when you create your Snapact online account. Album and profile privacy settings can be changed at any time, just like "publishing" and "unpublishing" your albums, or adding/removing photos at any time. You should take note that if you have set Snapact album privacy settings in your Snapact online account, individual album privacy settings selected during album creation or album edit process will over-ride your online account settings. For example, if your Snapact online profile and privacy settings allow for "anyone" to view your albums and photos, but you create an album with privacy settings set to "Allow only my Snapact friends", then only your Snapact friends will be able to view that specific album and the photos contained within.

When sharing your Snapact albums, you can choose from the following:

    - Use Snapact profile default: the privacy settings set in your online account will determine who can view your albums and photos
    - Allow everyone: anyone who visits the Snapact website can search for your photos, or if the URL for your album or photo becomes publicly available, anyone can view those albums and photos
    - Allow only Snapact Users: any Snapact users who sign in to their account will be able to view your albums and photos whether they are, or are not your "Friend".
    - Allow only my Snapact Friends: only Snapact users who have been accepted to become your "Friend" and have signed in to their Snapact account can view your albums and photos
    - Allow only me: only you can view your Snapact albums and photos and only when you sign in

Through the Snapact Photo Manager, you can change the privacy settings for any of your albums at any time. But remember, you must click "Sync" to apply any changes to your albums and/or photos.

Snapact Support replied on September 29, 2008 21:14 to the question "How do you add titles, descriptions, and comments to your photos with Snapact?" in Snapact:

    Snapact Support
Managing and organizing your photos can become more difficult as you continue to add more photos to your collection. Snapact has been designed to help make the tasks of managing and organizing your photos much easier.

Snapact Photo Manager is able to search for photos that you have "tagged" with Snapact. To "tag" a photo for easier searching, you simply need to select the photo. Once a photo is selected in the Snapact Photo Manager, the photo's details or information are displayed in the bottom pane. Take you mouse curor and place it next to the "Tags" category. You will see a rectangle box outline. Click within the outine and you will be able to enter text. Examples of some tags can be "2008", "summer", "beach", "birthday", etc. You choose what best describes or categorizes your photos. Once your photos have been tagged with Snapact, searching for the photos becomes easier because all you need to do is enter the search term in the "Search" box, which is located at the top right corner of the Snapact Photo Manager.

Please note that the Snapact Search feature only works with photos that have been "tagged" by Snapact.

Adding "Titles" allow you to display a title when sharing your photos through your Snapact online account. Titles help to add a personal touch to the photos by providing a brief description. Adding "Descriptions" and "Comments" to photos really add a personal touch by helping to tell the story behind the photos. They also help to start conversations or comments with other Snapact users or your Snapact "Friends".

To add Titles, Comments, and Descriptions to your photos, simply place your mouse cursor next to the category that you wish to edit, and click the text box to start entering your text.

You can change your Titles, Comments, Decriptions, or Tags at any time (or any of the photo details that can be edited) for both published and unpublished photos. To apply the changes to the photos that have been published to your Snapact online account, you must click the "Sync" button.

Any Titles, Decriptions, or Comments that you have added to your photos will appear in the photo tooltip, which is a small pop-up window that appears when you place your mouse cursor over a photo.
