Jonathan Snook replied on January 08, 2008 14:42 to the question "How do I get my friends and followers to load in the appropriate tabs?" in Snitter:
0.023 had a bug that prevented the friends and followers lists from getting pulled in properly. This has been fixed in later versions (which at this time, haven't been pushed into full release. If you're feeling adventurous, you can check grab the latest 0.026 at http://snook.ca/testing/snitter-26.air ).

You can use the User Styles to customize the interface to your liking. Click on the down arrow at the top (probably next to the word Tweets) to show the menu. Click on Options and then click on Edit User Styles to bring up the dialog. To increase the tweet text, just add this to the box:
.tweettext {font-size:16px;line-height:1.2;}
This will increase the font size and give the text a little room to breath between each line of text. Increase or decrease the number to adjust to your liking.

Jonathan Snook set one of Jonathan Snook's replies as an official response to "Can I get Growl Support for OSX?" in Snitter
Jonathan Snook, an employee of Snitter, replied on December 30, 2007 04:49 to the question "Can I get Growl Support for OSX?" in Snitter:
Unfortunately, Growl support isn't currently possible from the Adobe AIR platform.
For a more technical explanation, read on...
Growl allows for remote connections to be made via TCP (using Distributed Objects) or UDP (using GrowlTalk). AIR allows for TCP socket connections but not UDP. Therefore, in order to talk to Growl via TCP, I'd have to figure out how to send Distributed Object packets. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be documented anywhere except in C code which is, honestly, a little beyond my expertise. So, while not technically impossible at this point, it'll likely have to wait until Growl adds TCP support using GrowlTalk or AIR adds UDP socket support.
Jonathan Snook, an employee of Snitter, asked a question in Snitter on December 30, 2007 04:45:
Can I get Growl Support for OSX?Growl is a third-party notification system and it'd be nice to have all notifications going through a single application.
