Help! Facebook Violated Their Terms of Service In My Name!In dealing with Facebook Tech Support, they have created a second profile under my name when I already have a Facebook profile. So technically, they have violated their own Terms of Service on my behalf.
How can I get Facebook to remove the profile they just created WITHOUT destroying my longstanding Facebook account?
The goal was simple: To connect me as admin to a Facebook Page my client had created but did not want connected to their personal Facebook account so I could help manage the page for them.

Ampersands Killed My Tweet ContentWhen there is an ampersand in the tweet, the rest of the tweet is eliminated/cut off/killed when you hit Update.

Had a terrible time - again - with EarthlinkDidn't know how else to post this over here but this was a discussion that I had placed in the wrong area on Get Satisfaction...

I ended up being transferred 7x, one of those times to a stupid voice menu system. Luckily, a guy named "John" from their Web hosting division stayed on the line with me for about 4 of those transfers until he was sure I was being sent to the right person.
Then the senior sales rep kept trying to upsell me, pulling out all the stops to get me to keep paying the most money for unnecessary services. I finally yelled at her to provide me with exactly what I asked for and she did, reluctantly.
sad I’m frustrated and disappointed

Just for the record, after paying for a dialup account ($21.95) for many years WHEN I HAVE NOT BEEN USING DIALUP FOR YEARS (have had a Mindspring/Earthlink account since around 1999, stopped using dialup around 2001):
1. Called the 88 number, was connected after saying "I'd like to change my dialup account" to tech support. They could not help me. Transferred me to...
2. Customer service. They could not help me could not help me switch from a dialup account to an email account. This had to be done by a senior rep.. Transferred me to...
3. Web hosting. John said he would connect me to the right person because he could not help me. Transferred to...
4. Customer service. Again. They could not help me switch from a dialup account to an email account. This had to be done by a senior rep.. Transferred to...
5. A voice menu. It could not help me. Selected Dialup customer service. John helped me navigate it but we got it wrong several times.
6. Jess at Dialup customer service said she could not help me switch from a dialup account to an email account. This had to be done by a senior rep. Finally transferred to...
7. Christine, a senior rep with the POWER to cancel my dialup account. She proceeded to read from a list of additional, pricey services that I did not need or want until I finally shouted STOP TRYING TO SELL ME THINGS. ALL I WANT IS TO RETAIN MY EMAIL ACCOUNT, TO NOT AFFECT MY HOSTING ACCOUNT IN ANY ADVERSE WAY, AND TO CANCEL DIALUP WHICH I DO NOT NEED.
What a freaking nightmare.
sad I’m PISSED

Are you on their $3.95 plan for email? That sure is a big difference from the other plans they were trying to sell me.
indifferent I’m calmer now.
