Yes u can know the IP Address of the person whom u r chatting to. Do onething ...Send any file to the person whom u r chatting. When he is receiving the file, go to command prompt, type
C:>netstat
and u will find that person's IP.

Hi Sonu,
In the olden days, we used to use IRC (internet relay chat) to chat with folks. It was easy to get IP addys for folks when you chatted with them.
Now days, it's not possible in many cases. The chat services hide the IP addresses behind their servers. This does allow you to chat in confidence that nobody (except the chat service) can see where you are located.
