Display Adapter Problems "As much fun to make as it is to eat!"Surprised to see two "Jiffy Pop" capacitors on our NVidia GeForce 7600 display adapter In our Carousel internal message board system. The symptoms that led us to the display adapter was random screen noise and black flashing, even on the desktop. I've seen bad caps in all types of video hardware over the years but thought that was behind us with different electrolytes currently being used .
A comment on the question "replacing public website header" in Tightrope Media Systems:
We've decided to wrap the Public site in a frameset. It will allow us a little more customization while preserving the functionality. It also lets us broaden the page from 640 to 1024 which is pretty much the average res on the web. The public header is actually covered up by our header. The only drawback is that some browsers might not display it correctly. The site is still under construction...

Last update was 12/2/08 . we use multiple RSS feeds simultaneously in different zones. One zone currently displays an old feed, the ticker displays asterisks. When editing the page, it displays in red "Could not read the feed URL. Please check that the URL is valid RSS or ATOM" These feeds have always worked and I did check to see if we can still access the web from the player. I do have a call in to our IT department just to make sure nothing has changed on their end.
Thanks,
Bob

Paypal button for viewing on demand content feature request? We have another service that we use for streaming video on the web from Vbrick Systems that has included the ability to charge viewers via paypal before being able to view or download the video. Is there any possibility of adding that alongside or in place of the view button? We feel it's an added revenue stream for current and archived content without the additional labor . We have on our shelves 30 years worth of videotape that we get frequent requests for from Alumni and the community. They would be more than happy to pay a few dollars to relive their youth. It would seem like an excellent selling point for Tightrope too if users knew that they could recoup some of their investment in this way.
I know you guys are always asked for new features and I don't mean to detract from any of the updates that you have released, in fact, we're always excited to see what's on the burner at TRMS.
Thanks,
Bob
