Sorry to hear that you're having problems. I have passed your crash report onto our developers to take a look at. I'd recommend you continue trying to export as normally the session will eventually export. In my experience I've found this can take 5 - 7 attempts.

I'll get back to you as soon as I have an update.

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with importing to iMovie. This does sound like a bug as import is working for others. Could you let me know what, if any, error message you get when you try to import? If you could also send over the exported Silverback file I can see if there's a problem with it.

The Silverback data is stored in your home directory, under Library/Application Support/Silverback. We haven't tested this, so I'm not sure if it will work, but you could tell Silverback to save this within the global Library/Application Support.

At present there is no way of only capturing a selection of the screen. There is also no way of logging mouse clicks in screen coordinates. If users do request these features we may well consider adding them to future releases, however we have tried to keep to a small feature set with this app, to make sure that it's simple and easy and therefore works for "guerrilla testing".

At present you can turn the iSight recording off (if you go to the Preferences pane and select Capture). As the iSight and audio are linked on the Mac, this does mean that you won't capture any audio but does allow you to capture the screen only.

Best quality will make your files considerably bigger as it uses a lossless codec. If you want smaller files to send via email or similar, I'd recommend exporting at medium quality.

You can also change the size of the video image in Preferences/Export preference. This will also have an impact on file size.
