I take it back. My instance ran away. It shows me logged off on my client. I only used the application for an hour total. I was charged 577 hours, $81+ for December and $25 so far in January even though I canceled the service out of sheer desperation January 2. I don't see how this is cost effective. I haven't even launched the application at all in January. Like, I said, it shows that I am logged off on my end. I have contacted Amazon all week about it and it is like they don't understand what I am saying. I am very unhappy and frustrated this morning. I have been trying to get reimbursed for the 81+ I was charged and now it looks like I will be charged again for however much in January and again in Feb. and on and on until I figure out how to shut down the API.

It was the AVG virus scan holding me up. I disabled it, run.bat, entered keys, copied the script in the Second Life properties line here:

Copy your Second Life short cut on you desktop, rename the copy (I named mine Ondemand), right-click the icon, select properties, in the target line right after secondlife.exe paste the line -loginuri http://ec2......., close the property box, launch the application icon, use Test for the first name, User for the last name, test for password, login. Bingo! You should be in!

I went in for a few minutes to check it out. I am excited about it! Great Job!

run.bat crashes firefox. Is there an IE or other browser ondemand.zip package I can use?run.bat crashes firefox: I even tried creating a new profile and running the run.bat from the new profile and fresh firefox install and nothing. I have all the add on's disabled too.
This is not working at all. Are there any other install programs? Maybe one that will work with IE?

I can't open the run.bat file in the Sim OnDemand folder. Firefox keeps crashing. I have tried to set IE as the default browser thinking maybe that will run the run.bat file. But, it still wants to use Firefox. I have deleted the Sim OnDemand folders and redownloaded a couple of times. Restarted my pc, and still nothing. It still keeps trying to use Firefox to run the folder. I even went in and replaced firefox with internet explorer in the script, but that won't work either.
Any idea about how I can get the file to run. The only I haven't tried is uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it.
