API for Stats at document and folder levelWe are using Issuu to serve lots of small documents (1-3 pages) and we are finding that the Statistics module is not very practical for analyzing many documents and there is no real way to aggregate stat information. You can at best view up to six documents at the same time and there is no aggregate value given...only 6 lines in a graph.
I suggest that you expose your statistics via the API at the document and the folder level. This way we can export the data and aggregate it as needed.
If a FolderID is given, then the data is aggregated for all documents in the folder at the time of the report.
Just a basic export tool giving the option for the various values (eg, page views, visitors, countries, etc...):
Inputs:
Start Date:
End Date:
Date Grouping: Day, Week, Month
DocID (or DocName) or FolderID
Type (Totals, Country, Referral, Bookmark)
Output:
Unique Page views
Readers
Issuu Readers
(Country / Referral / Bookmark if any of these types were specified)

Option to show page 1 as 1st inside page instead of Cover? Is there any way to have the viewer begin by showing Pg. 1 of my document on the left instead of as the "cover". I have a lot of 2 page publications and I want to use the 2 page format but right now it only shows page 1 on the right. You need to flip to see the other page, which is silly if there are only 2 pages.

They could use the List API using the OrgDocumentName to find the new document and get the DocumentID

Need Smartlook Preferences (and overrides)I think you should allow more customization of details for Smartlook loaded documents. You could setup preferences (such as document type, language, viewer etc...) at the account level and then allow for custom properties that could be overridden using a parameter in the link such as rel="{language:es, document:brochure, viewer:http://www.mysite.com/myviewer.xml,Title:My document title,Keywords:{1:keyword, 2: keyword, 3:keyword} }"

What happens to Orphaned Smartlook documents? If I have a document loaded via Smartlook and I delete the original document (eg, PDF) and/or webpage, what happens to the Smartlook document? If I have lots of different documents is there any way for me to see easily in the Library which documents have been "orphaned"?

A comment on the question "How do I block Issuu viewers from my Library publications?" in Issuu:
Let's say that I want to prevent the publications from being viewed on the Issue website, but I want to have them embedded in my own site (but without blocking by password), can we still get the SEO benefit claimed for your service or is the SEO benefit really only on the issuu.com site? – spanishgringo, on September 08, 2009 07:39-
