We found your requests on the server and the server is returning images. The problem might be in javascript. (Zemanta plugin is displayed using java script in Live Writer) Clearing cache in Internet Explorer will also clear the cache in Zemanta plugin in Live Writer. Did you try clearing the cache?

We are aware of this problem.

If the error appears again just click no. Than right click anywhere on Zemanta plugin and choose reload. Plugin will reload and error should not appear.

Ok we will check what is happening on the backend.

Could you paste (or send to my email: domen.grabec[at]zemanta[dot]com) your link to preferences. At the bottom of Zemanta plugin there is a link to preferences. Just copy that shortcut.

Try clearing IE cache (Zemanta works in IE inside Live Writer):
- Close all Live Writer and Internet explorer instances
- Open Internet Explorer
- go to Tools --> Internet Options --> "Browsing History" segment --> Delete...
- Temporary internet files --> "Delete files"

This will only delete IE cache (saved html and java script files) and will keep your usernames, passwords, cookies and so on.
I hope this helps.

Also could you tell me what is your Windows Live Writer exact version and your Zemanta plugin version.

For Zemanta version go to:
- Start -> run
- type: "regedit"
- open: My Computer/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Zemanta/LiveWriter
- and what is the value of currVer key?

There are multiple possibilities:

- This could be a problem that occurs every time for a specific blog content. In this case could you post your blog text, so that we can figure out what went wrong. (switch from Edit view to Source view in Live Writer and copy paste the text)

- This could be a temporary problem. Is the problem repeating and does it happen if you write different blog content?

Does Zemanta plugin load when you open WLW, shows pictures and states "Zemanta loading" when you try to make the first "update". Or do you not see pictures at all?

As you have found out our plugin pops up only on the first opened LiveWriter window. If you click "New Post" new LiveWriter window is opened and plugin doesn't show there.

About drafts. I've tried to save a draft (without Zemanta plugin) and the reopen it and it worked for me? If I understood you right:
- You created a blog (without Zemanta plugin)
- Saved it as a local draft
- Close Live Writer
- install Zemanta plugin
- Open Live Writer
- Open a draft.

For me as long as I edit a draft in the first opened Live Writer window Zemanta works.
