Could you send us an email at support@soocial.com and we can look into your specific case. Send us the specifics of your phone model, OS version and your network/carrier.
It's possible that we don't support your device yet (right now only 4.6.x and some 4.5.x phones) have a look at our supported devices page: http://www.soocial.com/support/devices
However it looks to me like it is a matter of finding the right internet settings on your phone. Do a quick search for your network/carrier and APN settings and you should find the correct settings to use.

Hi Jesstuvida,
We have currently disabled sync for the iPhone as there is a major bug syncing your address books when there are photo's with contacts. Read our blog for a better explanation:

We are working very hard on the fix.

Martijn,
Are you able to use other apps on your BB that need an internet connection?
Basically you need to add the specific APN for your provider, being in the Netherlands for you it's probably:
Vodafone ->
- APN Name: blackberry.vodafone.nl
- Username: vodafone
- Password: vodafone
KPN & T-mobile ->
- APN Name: internet
- Username:
- Password:
Find your APN settings in Options > Avanced > TCP

Stefan Fountain reported a problem in foursquare on August 17, 2009 15:43:
International phone numbers not supportedThe 4S accounts only support phone numbers that are 10 digits long. It would be much more helpful if the phone numbers were formatted according to normal international guidelines. LIke +31653535353 in stead of arbitrary rules that don't work in all countries.
I love 4 Square and keep up the good work!

KMK and Moolligan,
Both of you are very right. We've not been updating the blog enough as we should have. We've been focussing a lot on stuff behind the scenes that weren't really bloggable. I will be blogging more frequently over the next weeks as we will be releasing more features and improvements.
Anyway there is a new blog post after yesterdays improvements online now as well, see: http://blog.soocial.com/2009/08/06/im...

I tried a few more things:
1. Logged into newly created account. However not much luck.
Still the same issues and hanging all over.
2. Seems to be less when I only use one application at a time. Using Photoshop and Mail especially seem to hang often. However watching move streams in flash or silverlight seem fine. I find that strange as watching a DVD or divx will hang very dependably after about 30 minutes.
I don't think I can wait until Snow Leopard comes out, before needing a fix....
Stefan Fountain replied on July 22, 2009 08:36 to the problem "Sync process hanging Leopard 10.5.7 on Macbook Pro" in Apple:
Hi Pendolino, the program I use to test the memory is Rember, however running that while the OS is running isn't conclusive. It gave no errors.
I also ran the Apple Hardware Test but also no trouble found.
I'm beginning to believe it has to do with because restoring from backup, incorrect preference files or system files have been copied.
I think I can test this thesis by using a different user account and trying some extensive work there to see if this is indeed the trouble.
In other words I do think it is software based not hardware fault. Which is good news I guess....

A related symtom is after watching about 30 minutes of video (in VLC) my MBP freezes up completely. Do you have this too?
BTW it seems like anything that needs a combination of disk activity and loading it into memory stalls the machine. I've done an extended memory check but nothing to indicate RAM failure.

Yeah, true. I've been unwilling to do a complete reinstall due to the time it will take. I wonder if it is worth waiting on Snow Leopard but that means accepting the BBOD untill September.... – Stefan Fountain, on July 16, 2009 08:45
