We ended up filing a feature request in Bugzilla for you at: http://bugzilla.songbirdnest.com/show...

We're probably not going to get to this in the next couple of releases as most of our focus is on improving the music playback experience for the next 2 releases.

However, it's in our system now, so when we polish off the audio features, we can down to photos and video.

Our iPod Device support does not currently support photos or videos. Please post a comment on the add-on so the add-on author is aware of your request.
