Jason,
I read on this site that Google is a part owner of Connect Realty: http://connect-realty-wisconsin.com/
How much of a stake does Google have in this business?
Does Ken Carlson, the founder of Connect Realty, have a Web site or blog? How can I find out more information about him?

Is there a way to preview my images before ordering products?I previously ordered a serving tray with my son's picture on it, but when it arrived, part of his head was cropped out of the image. I didn't see a way to preview images before buying. Do you offer previews of what it's going to look like? I may have just not seen that option.

This just in: GameStop stores are going to start offering Wii rain checks. From the AP wire:
"The rain checks will be available at the regular Wii system price, $249.99, on Dec. 20 and 21, and will entitle buyers to get the Nintendo console before Jan. 29. Fils-Aime said "many tens of thousands of rain checks" would be available."
Well, that is something, at least!

Funny quote: Wii-seeking momma feels mocked by Target employeesI read this quote in the NY Times today, from a Bay Area mom frustrated by not being able to find a Wii for her daughter's Christmas present:
“I’ve also been to Target,” she said, but when she asked for a Wii, she felt like the employees were mocking her. “I’ve received the smirks and the laughs.”

Amazing story: Best Buy apologizes to Laughing Squid for angry lawyer letterHere's something you don't see every day: an apology for a "cease-and-desist" lawyer letter. Apparently, someone in Best Buy's legal department sent out a letter to a blogger to try and stop him from saying negative things about the company. Then, a day later, the lawyers had second thoughts and actually apologized in writing for their knee-jerk reaction. Check it out: http://laughingsquid.com/best-buy-apo....
Nice to see that kind of follow-up from a large company, frankly.
spookyspeller asked a question in McDonald's on December 13, 2007 17:37:
Does McDonald's really charge people for parking too long in their parking lots?I read a story that claims McDonald's charges people to park in their parking lots for more than 45 minutes. I read it here, which is from a U.K. newspaper, but I wonder if there are similar policies at McDonald's -- or other places -- in the U.S. Anyone know of this practice and if it is ultimately legal?
